  1. Agree. The idea of 2 first round picks becomes more relevant when you know where they fall. If we get picks 4 & 5 from Freo this is a huge difference to picks 10 & 16.
  2. I would take this in a heartbeat. I'd say we may have to give up next years' 1st rounder also though for this to happen.
  3. It has to be a trade or he is de-listed. I'd say it will be a 4th rounder, but who really knows.
  4. I think it will be a 4th. Players like Kent aren't worth much in a trade.
  5. Disgusting by umpire Nicholls. He is universally hated because he is a terrible umpire. How can the AFL umpiring department not see this when everyone else can? Can't wait for the laughable decisions he comes up with if he gets a GF gig. Could hand one of the sides the cup.
  6. He was solid yesterday and has sown a lot of promise in his first season.
  7. Usually a young up and coming side would struggle to make it past a prelim.... but this is no ordinary side. There are a number of once in a generation talents in this side that could potentially take us to a GF a year earlier than predicted. I'll be cheering them on with everything on Saturday!
  8. Everything I read in that report was exactly the player we need. Get him into our system and watch him flourish into a forward pressure gun!
  9. Priority one booked in! You don't get a choice of ticket, just get allocated anything and have to pay it (max is $410). All very foreign to me! Jokes on them, I would pay $1,000 to watch the Dees on GF day.
  10. Start getting pumped for my first ever Grand Final
  11. Jack Lonie is one I'd look at for a high pressure small forward. Saints have tons of similar players so probably wouldn't cost much.
  12. No way! Old money bags can go rot somewhere else, to watch the Dees win multiple flags while he retires with none.
  13. Yeah an 8 day break is probably perfect. I think having the comp wide bye and then another bye is actually a slight disadvantage. We have definitely fallen on the better side of the draw. Hopefully we can make use of it!
  14. Gus Brayshaw & James Harmes
  15. Jaded your photo is the best thing I've ever seen. New FB photo coming up!
  16. I am absolutely confident he will be best 22 in the future. Seemed to have some injury concerns at the start of the season and in pre-season which killed his confidence. Think he was also rushed back too quickly against Sydney out of necessity and wasn't ready. I think he just needs to re-set come pre-season next year and work on doing the little things right. Confident that McCartney will get him back to his best.
  17. Well that as a lot easier than week 1!
  18. I was more looking on a like for like basis. Harmes v Guthrie
  19. How good are the match ups Oliver v Dangerfield Viney v Selwood Petracca v Ablett Brayshaw v Duncan Jones v Kelly Tyson v Menegola and................ Gawn v Abbott ?
  20. He actually looked after us against the Dogs so I'm happy with him umpiring. Just put the whistles away and let the boys play!
  21. I agree with this, as Hogan has a massive tank so should play more through the midfield in a similar role to Riewoldt in his last few seasons.
  22. Bailey Williams is another Dandy player who is touted to be in the top 20. Is he also available to us under these rules?
  23. It sounds like Tyson will get up for this one so I think there will be two changes. Ins: Viney & Hannan Out: Kent & JKH B: Jetta McDonald Hibberd HB: Salem Frost Lewis c : Brayshaw Viney Harmes HF: Petracca Weideman Melksham F: Spargo McDonald Neal-Bullen R: Gawn Oliver Jones Int: Tyson Hannan Fritsch VandenBerg Emg: Pedersen Kennedy-Harris Smith Bugg
  24. I wouldn't mind that, as it would allow us to release Fritsch to the wing and forward where he is very dangerous.
  25. I noticed this during Bernie's farewell speech. Had never seen it before.
