Bit of a concern with Fritsch. I wonder if we would play JVR in his role if Fritsch isn't fit for round 1? Could be a good option for the 3rd tall.

I love this. I prefer Gawn floating back than in the forward line, unless he can start kicking straighter. Just please try handball off to a Brayshaw or Bowey once it's been marked Max.

There's not too many lock options for the Dees this year in my mind! Oliver is a lock for me. Gawn and Grundy it's hard because we don't know their roles. If McVee or van Rooyen are named I may have them on my bench.

That is definitely the other thing. If the club post a full internal match replay other clubs can go through it to try get an edge for round 1. I saw Port Adelaide posted this, so if I'm the Lions I would be watching that very closely.

I'm definitely not going to say we are the best, but are far from the worst. We get photo galleries pretty much every training session and a lot of short clips and stories on Insta. I agree it would be good to see some more video clips. I assume they probably have someone very new in the role, so they may be learning on the job so will give the benefit of the doubt.

I disagree with this. I've been on a few other sides websites and some have had like 2 or 3 photo galleries for the whole pre season!

I'd say Bowey will start in Salem's place. I've got a feeling Melksham will be the sub a lot of this year given his versatility. Plus it's an easy way to get him to 100 games for future father son options!

Hello all. The Demonland SuperCoach league is back up and running again and we currently have 12 of 18 spots filled. I sent out invitations to all coaches from last year when I re-established the league, so if everyone who was in it last year is keen to join again please check your emails for this. If you never received anything please let me know and I can send it to you manually. I'm also keen to look at a draft league if anyone else is interested. I am currently in two 'keeper' leagues with Ultimate/AFL fantasy and would be keen to do either a SC or Fantasy one that isn't a keeper league and is just a re-draft each year. I think generally having between 10-12 teams is the best number so if anyone is interested let me know and we might be able to start something.

I imagine our supporters during the 50's and 60's were the same..... how quickly it can change.

We play them twice this year at the G so I would suggest turning up and enjoying absolute demolition jobs. You can then sit there smugly and enjoy watching their supporters sitting there talking about the young kid who has had 15 touches and looks promising. Imagine the midfield battle of Reeves, Newcombe Worpel and Ward vs Gawn, Oliver, Petracca and Viney.... what a blood bath that will be.

I really don't see how Jefferson replaces any of those guys as they play a completely different role and he wouldn't have the tank to do what they do...

I think there's a very low chance that Jefferson debuts this year. If van Rooyen didn't last year, I can't see the selectors backflipping on this philosophy and picking him this year given his slim size. My thoughts on the 5 most likely to debut this year: 1. Jacob van Rooyen 2. Blake Howes 3. Judd McVee 4. Bailey Laurie 5. Taj Woewodin
