You can’t really. Just have to focus on technique and trust it will come through under pressure. One thing you can train for is skills under fatigue I guess, so there’s that option.

I’d be extremely surprised if Jeffo played round 1. I think it will be JVR, Turner and Johnson as the KPFs and Johnson 2nd ruck. Petty will also be back in defence assuming he doesn’t have an injury.

Nice to give Freo fans a bit of their own medicine… It would be nice if they are in a dog fight with the Eagles for Warner and therefore need additional draft capital…. Keep Kozzy and bring back Jacko…. Would be a real Freo thing to do as well

Bowey was fine? Had 27 touches at 70% DE. Ideally he would be at around 75-80%, but it was a practice match so I’m sure his touch will improve

Meant to be around 29 degrees at the start time. Mandurah is a bit cooler than Perth as it’s about 45 mins south

Tbf you can get all the VFL stats from a regular season game on the AFL website. They are obviously just not doing It for a practice match. It’s funny, 30-40 years ago we didn’t even know which players were drafted or traded until it was reported in a newspaper. Now we are unhappy to not get stats for a reserves practice match!

Sorry I don’t understand what you mean. Teams can trade 2 years in advance plus the current year. So all teams can trade 3 first round picks if they want, the current year plus the two years coming.

North are amazing at getting heaps of disposals and doing nothing with it…

Clubs can trade 2 years in advance this year onwards. So technically you could trade 2025, 2026 and 2027 first round pick this year

Fractured ankle is probably 12 weeks minimum. Depends on how bad the fracture is, can be season ending if it’s bad enough.

I think the thing with Jefferson is when he came in he was very skinny, so he was always going to take a lot of time. I think he has shown good signs, but he really needs to dominate at VFL level this year. He will play a handful of AFL games as well I would think and then he needs another massive preseason to add more muscle again heading into 2026.
