No idea! Cados who is a big dees fan is calling for matching shorts/jumper colours for all strips. I agree with him, the white shorts aren’t really needed anymore for away strips as all clubs have clash jerseys.

I think it could be re-vamped though to make it more modern, but use similar style.

It’s been carnage the last 2-3 weeks across the AFL… fingers crossed we can get through Sunday unscathed and get into the season with a strong first side!

I’d love to know the numbers now compared to 10-15 years ago. It feels like the additional matches and earlier start the AFL have put on the players is contributing to this..:

I’m more referring to the emblem itself and comparing it to our current club emblem. I like the jersey though as a clash jumper.

With the announcement yesterday that we will be wearing a jersey this year with the 90s/early 2000s demon face, I was keen to get people thoughts on our emblem. Personally that emblem was my all time favourite and I’d love to bring back the demon in some capacity. I find the current club emblem a bit bland. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

I think he’s just using that as an example, it’s not an actual negotiation. He’s more making the point that we rate him extremely highly and we aren’t moving him for a deal that isn’t worth it

I guess the alternative is he could’ve said; we love Kozzy Pickett, he’s contracted and we aren’t trading him…

I think Greeny’s presentation can be a little rough around the edges at times, but I think the premise was fine ‘we aren’t just rolling over on a trade’.

Everyone was crying out for our past president to speak and be vocal in support of the club and its interests. Greeny is doing that so happy about that, given it is his role as president.

I had huge hopes for Kolt this season... unfortunately it has been delayed but hope to see him mid season!

I think we have used the academy trading situation better than most sides since it was introduced. The only downside is we were shafted with Mac Andrew! Thankfully the pick we would've used for him got us JVR....so can't complain.

Their youth is essential Daicos and that’s it… they’ve got raps on Ed Allan as well, but realistically they are miles behind other clubs on the youth front. They’ve gone all in on winning a flag now, so if they don’t it will be big failure.

I think the club backed themselves to get back into the top 8, which would probably put us ahead on the trading of the first round pick for 2025. They also may have rated the talent in 2024 much higher, especially for mids. The other consideration, is if we know Kalani White is nominating us and we expect him to be top 15, it means we essentially get a first round pick in 2025 anyway. Couple that with Sinnema, who we also have access to and it could be smart trading by us.
