Oh God!!! Once again the AFL is [censored] up a game that has worked so well for 150+ years Oh and surprise surprise crowd numbers keep dropping even though we have 6 extra teams... Just make it fair. Is it really that hard? Geez my 12 yo could work it out in five minutes, but the idiots that think they are running the show can't do that in 30 odd years. $$$'s rule even as the fans shake their heads.

I like Gus. I really do. There were times in 2015 that I saw him create something out of nothing. Speed, evasiveness, long, pin point kicks to Jeffy or Hoges. I think he has a higher ceiling than most at the club. Don't get me wrong... I see great things in a lot of the kids at our club, but Gus has something that makes me think he will be an absolute champion... Simon Black style... when he's a little bigger, older and wiser. A real footballers footballer, and we are lucky to have him.

Hype is irrelevant. You do or you don't, and all the newspapers hacks and mug punters won't change any of that. 40 people on both lists, with similar ceilings, and what will separate the men from the goats is if they go out and do, or if they believe all they have to do is show up. Made a bet with a Collingwood supporter on the same. She laughed and said I'll take your money. Then I said double or nothing they (Collingwood) finish in the bottom six and Buckley is gone by round 18... She didn't want to take that one. I'll probably lose the first bet, but only because the talent is so young, but I'd be really surprised if this group isn't seriously challenging for the flag in the next 2-3 years

Ok, I've had a little think, and more than a little giggle about this, and I'm thinking that the reason Richmond is so high is because they handball in circles 15 times, then lose it, and the opp does 2 handballs, one kick then goal. Rince and repeat. A little bit like our backline under neeld. I'm sure our effective kicks looked great to CD. FB to a pocket to FB to the other pocket, to FB again, to the other pocket, then back to... oops. A bunch to us. one to them. and we lose by 80. Anyway bugger stats. We got sold a dud. Then again with Harry. Benken is looking like that too Oh well, the price of dealing with Collingwood. I honestly don't know what our best 22 is. And I like that. 5 years ago I'd name 10 then go ... umm... Now I'm trying to fit 30 into 22 and that's without Lewis, Milkshake and Hibberd. It's a good place to be. Sorta like not caring about the top 20 in the draft.

Sounds like he is in a bad place. Sometimes, no matter the help, those bad thoughts in your head are louder than the rest.

Nasty. hot, wet and humid. going to the shops is like running a marathon. I lived there for three years. the wet is something only the crazy brave would play football in. That said, the locals that grew up with it seem to enjoy it.

He seems to be insurance right now. I don't think that was the reason he was signed for 3 years, rather that the kids came on a lot quicker than expected
