I posted during the second quarter we would lead by 40 and end up winning by 7. Its sad we are so predictable. We have injuries but we should have been 60 up easily and not let them back in maybe I’ve been a melb supporter too long! but thank Christ we won. Was good to see Oliver and Viney lift when the whips were cracking

Will be wet and cold. a horrible game to watch with skill errors, fumbles and free kicks. we've gone tall at the back (in the wet) with Petty, Frost and May and their two tall targets are out injured. they both are/were current captains towards the end of your career. you do not kick a current captain out the door. if he is good enough to be the team captain he is good enough to have one more year. ever heard of a current captain being managed out of any club?? only our half-arsed club has done it

Surely we have learnt from 'retiring' our previous captain, Junior McDonald. Jones is our captain and is playing well enough to have another year. I reckon he can do well off a HB flank, and if not playing well he can play at casey Viney sole captain in 2020
