  1. Don’t talk about your wife like that Harvey
  2. I really don't think this is an advantage and now with the pre finals bye I see this is as a distinct disadvantage. You want a proper hit out before the break. This might partly explain the Cats poor finals performances over the past 14 years Made finals 12 times, 9 prelims for 1 flag. Tigers during the same period made 4 prelims for 3 flags
  3. let’s just hope we are not 40pts up at 3/4 time!
  4. Collingwood have the 2nd or 3rd toughest draw based on double ups. They have the rest of the top 4 twice plus Hawks. Also the blues who could improve
  5. Cats probably with the toughest draw the rest of the top 4 twice. plus GC and Freo (and north) Expecting a drop from them (but I've said this every year since 2014)
  6. Who is running channel 7?!? By round 5 the blues will be seven mate and better homes and gardens on 7
  7. North Melb have ZERO free to air matches in the first 15 rounds Blues 4 thursdays and 1 friday night game in the first 7 rounds. this after a 9-14 season and losing their best player Pathetic from the AFL
  8. Double ups 1 teams from top 6 3 from middle 6 2 from bottom 6 i thought the 3 teams could only be from the group you finished in? weird
  9. Fantastic we don’t play at Geelong! The double ups are tough but none of the best teams are part of them at least. No crows, lions, swans Lots of day sat and sunday games!
  10. Gees that’s a tough draw for a bottom 6 team 4 top 9 teams twice
  11. 6 of the top 8 teams are non Vic. The bias towards Vic teams is crazy As much fun as seeing the Blues getting flogged is, it doesn’t make for a good spectacle
  12. For those that are impatient it will only take until July 2026 until we know the dates and times for the full fixture
  13. yep. we generally have a similar fixture each year Usually we play Carlton after we have played every other team at least once
  14. it’s a bad time slot, better not to waste it on a big drawing opponent

  17. Not expecting any surprises in the fixture for next year. Very similar to 2025 I reckon Good draw, footy wise and poor draw commercially. Maybe 1 thurs or fri game Alice as usual. Gumba stadium as usual
