  1. Ahh! a touch of Tingay, quite right, but faster.
  2. Not really he is about 3" taller that Tingay - I met Tingay and was surprised at how small he was, muscly but short. 5'10 ish
  3. DC, they keep making up words, many of these come from people that can only type with their thumbs FCS! Personally any word not appearing in a dictionary printed since our most recent flag has no right to be considered. I will not waiver until we have another flag, then by all means have your "mealstrom" you can even include farnarkle for all I care.
  4. Live in Adelaide on 7. It's a disgrace really, the only reason I have Foxtel.
  5. Picket, Picket, Picket, Peter Moore had to beat some champions of the game to win the Brownlow. Flower, Hawkins, DiPierdomenico, Ablett, Tuck, Williams, Lockett. Moore was the stand out player that year. Jeff White was an All Australian ruckman and regularly had 20+ possession games not A+ ? You will note that the other names I mentioned were behind Bernie Vince, knocking on the door. I did not mention Templeton because he was past it when he came to us.
  6. Good ol' Topaz Tilly, built like Tarzan played like Jane, one of the most over rated players I can remember. Twice the size of a young Robbie Flower with half the heart. Edit:- Sorry Sir Robert, 1/1000th the heart.
  7. Peter Moore 1984 Brownlow medalist Jeff White 2004 All Australian Edit:- Gotta go Bernie Vince is knocking on the door. He has a few mates with him, Carl Ditterich, Brent Crosswell, Phil Carmen, Mark Jackson and Byron Picket. Edit 2:- Maybe you are right, that is not one.
  8. Au contraire. I was taking exception to the heading optimist only, it should be optimists only.
  9. Optimist only. Are you implying that there is only one?
  10. "The young Demon will also be placed on the medication he took when the illness first flared in 2014, causing him to lose six kilograms prior to that year's Christmas break." What does that mean? The medication that caused him to lose six kilos or the illness caused him to lose six kilos. Perhaps it should be worded. The young Demon will be placed on the same medication prescribed after he lost six kilos when the illness first flared prior to Christmas 2014
  11. We used 2 last year, also although not included (I think) we used 2 the year before.
  12. Top 4 sides should be prohibited from taking players from bottom 4 sides at any time. Top up/mid season draft players salaries to be doubled for salary cap calculations for 2 years. Except VFL-SANFL etc. (2nd tier) players. Can only delist the same number of players as drafted mid season. Maximum 2 -I don't like it but if it is going to happen we must restrict the powerful clubs from raping the poor clubs.
  13. Some interesting stats from:- http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-06-22/the-numbers-that-really-matter-for-your-club Spoils Tom McDonald (7.8 – No.5), Oscar McDonald (6.3 – No.21), Colin Garland (3.7 – No. 55) Intercept marks Tom McDonald (2.7 – No.7), Oscar McDonald (1.5 – No.52) Effective kicks inside 50 Tomas Bugg (67 per cent – No.7), Dean Kent (62 per cent – No.23), Jeff Garlett (61 per cent – No.27) Player Ratings points Max Gawn (16.8 points – No.9), Jack Viney (14.8 – No.24), Tom McDonald (13.4 – No.59)
  14. Go away for a day and WW3 breaks out! I agree with stuie on this. There I said it, never thought I would. As for Prodee and SWYL you seem to fail to appreciate that we live in changing times and standards of acceptability are shifting, not long ago aboriginals could not vote and slavery was commonplace (in the world). Societal values change, time to move with the times.
  15. I am thinking a shredder, microwave & incinerator service for $20 per card including a free abusive email to the Richmond director of your choice. What do you think?
  16. JAY Kennedy-Harris will miss the next four to six weeks with another hamstring injury. It is the third time the speedy forward/midfielder has suffered a hamstring injury this year. “Jay had a minor tweak at training last week,” elite performance manager Dave Misson told Melbourne TV. “We don’t think it’s too serious, but it’s his third one in six months, so we’re going to have a bit of a look at what we’re doing there and make sure we set up Jay to have a good back half of the season. “He’s probably four to six weeks away.” http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2016-06-17/kennedyharris-injures-hamstring-again
  17. Russian bobsled? - or bobsleigh - also the Russians may need some drug free athletes, you may be right.
  18. No that does not happen, just ask Nasher. No way that any club would take out a tall with a "knee" and replace with a speedy midfielder for a very wet game. I'm with you though and think a tall may have a "24 hour virus" and a speedy mid may come in for us too.
  19. I remember the McLelland Trophy. Best overall record across Under 19's Reserves and Seniors. Now that was a trophy to win. I recall watching Richmond play in three premiership matches in one day, I may be wrong early 70's I think.
