Is this the thread where we have a political rant? Or is this the thread where we talk about the mighty Dees? Some posters continually push political ideologies and biases and I'm tired of the distraction. I would not be surprised if we have a stirring victory today playing exciting free flowing footy. I don't care what some posters think about the state government.

Loved Oliver, Petracca, May and Goodwin at their best From what I have heard we are better off without them. When winning things get overlooked and covered up. But believe me things were rotten in Denmark. Some things I've heard would shock many of us, the media knows a lot probably not all. We are lucky that all wrongdoings are not public. Now that is not to say all were equally naughty, if one was to weigh up the trades it gives an indication of how bad things were. Careers could end abruptly with little said, we are better off now. I will not elaborate, I don't care if you believe me but if the [censored] hits the fan at some time you'll see what I m alluding to.

If they want to add a round I have a clue, pay attention! Currently 24 rounds plus one equals 25! I know it is fairly advanced arithmetic for a four year old. Note:- 24 rounds plus round zero is still 25 yes but the byes you may say. Then have a split round 1 it's not difficult. What about the teams that have the "traditional opening match" now in the second week of the season. Spare me!

Round 0 ! The stupidity of Round 0 is mind blowing. I cannot comprehend the motivation behind continuing this. What does it add to the season? Who benefits? If it's the vibe, maybe next year we add Round 00! And the year after Round 000. It is so moronic it could only come from the AFL

With everything written above, he was better than that. To see Robbie play was a gift. The superlatives are insufficient, watch the you tube highlights and imagine every game and every minute was sprinkled with his magic. I tear up remembering. Thank you for being Melbourne Robbie.

Fair call, TMac has said his ankles (I think) are not up to playing forward anymore but I do like him as a forward. Petty is already there and offers very little in the ruck. Do you at the least see the value of AJ as a disruptor? I think he plays because he offers real aggression and cuts a path opening the game for those around him. I would keep AJ until someone at Casey finally realises what is required, or as you say give TMac a go.

I also disagree with you Picket. AJ is doing his job, he is not pretty or skilful. He breaks opposition defences structure. Currently no one at Casey is doing a better job. Max gets to rest and AJ is serviceable. I am interested who you think fills the 2nd ruck forward roll better at the moment.

This is an interesting argument WSY. Do helmets mitigate the damage? All reports that I have read seem to support your notion, however logic suggests that a helmet would help to reduce severity. I for one would prefer to be wearing a helmet if kneed in the head. Would it stop concussion? Possibly not, but it seems absurd to think that it could not limit severity.
