Interesting comparison but it is early days for both players,so far Petracca is the winner. I think for took Hunt in the same year,earlier on he suffered from injuries and has turned out to becoming a useful player for us. We could of chosen Wines instead of Doupas,(Doups was damaged goods when we picked him up) we could have chosen the Bont or Cripps over Brayshaw. So the Bomp is a clear cut winner followed by Cripps thou Brayshaw isn't too bad of a player. As comparisons go we pick up Oliver over Parish,so our scouts got that one right.

Now that the women have an "a" grade comp,they should get the same pay deal as the men. We can't decrimate these days and we can't afford female socialites complaining how unfair it is. What is the point of the AFL trying to even up the comp.if elite players end up at the elite clubs. If an experience player of 100 games and is considered an elite players (some system would be required to determine eliteness) no longer want to play for their existing club,he should go into the draft with a set asking price.The bottom club get first bite of the cherry and so on.If the player doesn't get picked up in the first round then his price drop by a set amount.The bottom club can use their 2nd rd pick. Other players can also be placed into the system but have less bargaining power.There should be no swapping of draft picks or pre arranged swaps.

Stats can be manipulated to suit the author of the subject. What is strange is Hibberd and Melksham get a rating considering they havn't played footy for over a year.

I would say 50% of the poor people would attend footy matches and thus would contribute to the salaries of the players,without their contribution the wages would not be as high as they are. What about the womens AFL footy teams,most players don't get a wage,so money will need to be spent on them ( the women). The AFL womens match Coll V Car did attract a crowd of 24,000 despite the tickets being freebies. If you want new teams to join the comp. you must give them assistance. If a team like ours in the past is run by d.heads you cannot expect success.Basically with recruiting,draft picks etc you would expect all teams to be equal,but what set the cream from the crop is the way a club is run. Thinking outside the square.

With regards to rating team for their forward line, St.Kida would have to be rated above us purely because they to date have the wood over us. Geelong and Hawthorn in the past have had long winning streaks or losing streaks against each other. GWS,SYDNEY,HAWTHORN,WB and ST.KILDA would be rated higher than the DEES. Petracca and Hogan will improve along with our midfield and defence.My concern is CHF/FF if Hogan doesn't fill one of those spots. However Hogan may play further down the ground at times. Geelong will drop,don't think much of Vickery and Hawkins is becoming a dinosaur. ESSENDON,ADELAIDE,WEST COAST and FREO will have the next best forward line after the Dees. KANGAS,PIES,G.C, etc

Sounds like Casey has a lot of talented kids available for 2017. Gach will be intereseting along with Allsop. Does anyone knows when the fianal side is selected.
