Pedo rucked well v ESS,but not consistent to be a forward. Weed needs to be rotated from 1sts and 2nds, Smith,Keilty,White need a bit of experience in the seniors.

I am glad that Cam played well,he is like a lot of our revolving stock players just unable to follow up the good work week in week out.Maybe this match ( v bombers) will be the turning pt. Still we could do with a ruck/forward like Brown from the Kangas.

We didn't go out and get Brayshaw's brother,so that has got to be a plus. Re-Greg Healy wouldn't get a game with the senior side. Looked average in a below average side.O.Mac will prove doubters wrong.

Can't beleive it that Hogan is out. I understand his situation yet I think that the Dees are cursed. No finals this year unless a miracle occurs.

At one stage White looked likely to go on to become a permanent defender,somthing changed perhaps injuries has been a set back.If he can regain his form then he could be a suitable replacement to Melksham. Pedo and Frost are a bit small to be ruckman however the combo could pay off.Leaving Watts as forward mostly would be an asset to Hogan. O'Mac back in defence would also see Frost play a little bit forward changing with Pedo. Kent in JKH out is a no brainer.

I agree with Deestar changes for next week. This constant mention of Essendrug is waring a bit thin considering we have purchased two drug cheats from them,that makes some of us hypocites. Maybe we could give Keilty a go. Another loss eventually and we might end up in the abyss!!!.

Oliver is class above the rest of our mids ( it's tragic),if Joel Smith ends up a mid next year that will be super. Maynard another basketball convert seems to be following in Smith footsteps. This year it will be hard to see us making finals due to injuries.We don't seem to have enough quality players in the reserves,just revolving door types.Most of all we need to get another quality mid and a ruck/forward player.Perhaps those tall players in the reserve need to be given ruck duties i.e O.Mac.,Flipovic,Weed. Ruck work can improve stamina and confidence. If these light wts ruckman get pushed off the ball easily then the mids will have to take up the slack.People will say that I am crazy but I did say Watts should be able to ruck under the Neil Craig coaching empire.( not really an empire ).

I still don't get it suggesting Pedo as second ruck,he is only 193 cm tall. Those who have once again mooted this idea,please explain? Apart from Oliver we don't have anyone with the "it" factor.

This is a game we need to win.Our mid stock are being depleted with Gus getting another concussion,I think he will never play again.Who is going to step up?Perhaps Salem and/or Petracca need to become mids. Hogan back this week is good and the following week we get back Lewis,hopefully they won't get suspended again. N.Jones statement on J.Hogan was just a waste of time, everyone knows he is playing next week.I would rather the coach make comments on the team's performance,Goodwin needs to put a skyrocket some of our players,perhaps we have flat-lined. Actually I thought the draft didn't help us a great deal considering what Essendon F.C achieved. Picking up Melsham we paid overs.Hibbard might be o.k,we will wait ans see. Hannan possibily a champion VFL player. Based on Casey's loss there isn't much you can promote. Hogan,Pedo and or T.Smith out Weed (since Hogan's in the weed may stay.

Never a fan of dual Captaincy,I don't think any of the them are decent captain. If the captain is constantly out of form he needs to be dropped.You can't have one rule for one player and another rule for another.

Casey Scorpions to Casey Demons is an improvement but why stop there Melbourne 2 or just Demons.

At this stage we havn't improve on last year,we beat two nobodies,they have different name a.k.a richmond and collingwood. Yet Dr(short for Drongo) Gonzo rather disagrees,seems to be happy with 2-2 win/loss ratio. Someone is saying that Freo have a good midfield yet if they were 0-3 nobody would have made that statement. We have got a better team since the Neeld days however other teams have improved also. If we lose next week do some of us come out and praise the opposition's midfield?.A Loss would cause us to say good-bye to the finals.

Diamond_Jim, English and European sides play in excess of 32 games a year plus they are involved in many other matches i.e F.A cup and clubs do have u23,u20 sides running.There is always enough soccer for any team listed players. If Victorian based football sides want to be on a level playing field with their W.A counterparts then they have to start the season earlier. I wish that someone would explain to me why byes are needed in the Development League,I thought the AFL was going to change that.

How can you select decent back up players when the VFL comp starts at rd 4 of the AFL. To top it off their is a bye coming up due to an interstate match. The development league is worst,fancy having byes when there are an even amount of teams,who does that.? (ironless stein ! ) . The people running the WAFL must be gifted with a brain as their comp start weeks before the AFL.

Probably the Weed needs to get dropped in all fairness to the players in waiting i.e Ped and Frost. Our defence is a bit weak,conceding 20 goals is not good enough and we are probably short of one quality mid,which i don't think we have spares.

Why doesn't the Melbourne Football Club make a request the the VFL starts when the AFL starts their season.The WAFL starts two weeks prior to the AFL,since they have only 8 teams they play each other 3 times. How can you pick backup players on form if their season starts rd3 to rd4 of the AFL season. Other Victorian based sides should band together a protest. The development league is worst.

Being an inexperience side,a 30 odd pt loss is not a bad loss,if you take Dangerfield out of their side we may have won or been much closer. I think our biggest loss apart from Gawn is probably Joel Smith who is going to be a great player for us. Somehow i think Spencil will stand up and may surprise.

Brayshaw is probably carrying an injury,sometimes we are not privy to the information.He will bounce back.

CHF.I think T.Smith could be a good move.I would like to see Hannan in preference to Brayshaw or Neal- Bullen ,he offers more up front and has etihad stadium form. Geelong are not a super side.

As mentioned by someone that Brayshaw needs time in the Casey side,however their first match begin April 14 so what is he expected to do in the meantime apart from training. I don't know why the VFL starts later than the AFL ( 3 weeks) when the WAFL starts before the AFL,how can you pick players for the senior team based on 2nd grade practice matches?.
