WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Mr Deecisive,by paying suspended players you are actually rewarding cheats. I wouldn't mind getting paid for a year for do nothing. All this amounts to is stupidity on a large scale. If the AFL had rules in place regarding players from club injecting substances and the consequences that may prevent the problem from occuring in the first place.Players involved should automatically given a one year suspension. The club involved should also be stripped of premierships points for the following season and for the current season be disqualified from the finals which happened. The players do not receive a wage for the next season.Draft picks, the offending team can only receive 3rd round onwards and cannot trade anyone for lower picks.Compensation is given to clubs who unknowingly pick players who are deemed as drug cheats, perhaps the other club are given first choice on top up players. The coach of the so called drug cheats is fined $1 mill dollars, the club is fined $2 mill dollars which has occured. The players cannot sue the AFL or the EFC.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Since Melksham was found guilty of drug the cheating, the Dees should not be obliged to honour his contract and should have the right to be compensated by Essendon for us to giving up pick 24. Promoting anyone off the rookie list is no big deal, the particular player get a better opportunity to show what he is worth. A blessing in disguise !!!!!!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Under the buyer beware thread it was mentioned that Jake could be suspended yet the Dees as usual made a poor call. The question is does Melbourne get compensation for Jake along with other clubs who pick up Essendon players? Does Jake get paid by the Dees under the buyer beware rule. Why does the morrons who run the AFL allow Essendon players to transfer to other club whilst being accused of being drug cheats.Suspended players are likely to take class action against the Essendon Football club this will also likely to include de listed players providing they can get a Dr of… on their side to say that injection of chemical X led to a down turn in their ability or whatever.Lawyers will be the biggest winners. Is Essendon going to be entilted to priority draft pick if they come last in 2016?

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Delisting Hunt/Harmes/king is premature must be given a chance(s) Hunt and Harmes are both mids without the same class as a Brayshaw or Patrecca however they will mature into good players IF.I once said Kent and to a lesser extent Pedersen would be of value, most of us would agree with Kent whilst some prefer Pedersen over Dawes. The question I ask is how far are the likes of Watts,Dawes,Garland and Howe going to take us? Other clubs are not going to give us first round draft pick,2nd round a slight chance. When is the last time any of those get a vote from the Herald-Sun for playing well.Nat Jones,Tyson,Bradshaw,Vince,Gawn to mention have. King has been primed for a ruck/forward role and M.White has been pick up for his skills as a defender. We do need experienced players from other clubs,we have to continue to dilute the Mark Neeld effect( a bit like an exocism ). Who is to go:- Mckenzie,Howe,Watts,Minchie,Riley,Cross,Jamar,Bail,Grimes ,Spence? Who is going to escape the bullet Terlich,M.jones,Dawes. An interesting question by the end of the year: WHO IS GOING TO MAKE AN IMPACT TO THE SENIORS (1)HUNT(2)HARMES(3)KING(4)NONE

Delistings/trades at end of the season
As mentioned by a couple of authors,Grimes or Trengove to be kept at Demonland for very little money. Rookies get $80,000 plus per annum,I wished that I get paid that much, very little money…..can only dream. The Trengove [censored] off to Richmond was a load of bullsh.t,never going to happen, only used as exercise to lay down the law to players underperforming.Trengove will get back to his best next year however may not get a gig in the midfield.

Henrietta Lumbago, The Dees don't seem to have a good back up if Gawn is injured. The choice who to get rid of between Fitz or Spencer is debatable.Spencer been with the club for 5 yrs and has achieved what ? (two good matches) whilst Fitzy played some good matches in the past. There is another 10 matches to go so it will be interesting,I am nothing going to lose sleep on who goes or stays, perhaps FROST may become our back up ruckman!!! Have a good day.

Rjay, just a note of warning ………. great stuff. Spending heaps on quality so called players from other clubs can back fire. Templeton,Diamond Jim Tilbrook, Mitch Clark and possibly Dawes are proof what can happen.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Forgot to mention Minchie…… good bye,Riley perhaps! Are we up to our usual 10-12 delistings now? Bennell and Dixon mentioned as replacements, many past dee players were f.cked in the head from Mark Neeld and co. and had to be let go. Getting any GC players might be a mistake due to their ability to constantly lose and the drug scandal arisen from the scum bag K Michael-Hunt. Drug dealing AFL/Rugby players don't get anywhere the same penalty as those who take drugs.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Mckenzie definite,Terlich possible( lightning may strike twice),Bail and Matt Jones could be safe due to their "back up value"……. experienced reserves. Fitzy or Spencer to go…. both are up and down. Jamar not safe. Grimes definite,Trengove to stay,if he gets back to his best may make a useful defender.Forget the physicoligal ploy to [censored] him off last year.Toumpas possible may be replaced by HARMES or HUNT. Howe rumoured to go the way as Stef Martin, Watts might go,just too soft for AFL footy,ROOSY loves him.Garland could be up for trade only as a slim chance.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Harmes and King have been on the rookie list for the last 2 yrs, perhaps the club needs to take a chance on one of them. An upgrad is possilble due to long term injuries to Petracca and Trengove. Vander got an update to from rookie list to seniors. Nothing ventured is nothing gained. I hate to see long term rookies ( > 2yrs), train and develop them.

Get rid of frog sh.t artists Paul Roos,Matty Brugan and anyone else who mouth's off. No player ratings and no players talking to the media i.e Dawes stating Hawthorn are for the taking…..loss 105 pts, when is the club going to learn to shut up. I am not a Grimes fan but why doesn't Watts get dropped for being soft as a marshmellow, perhaps the Dees or should I say Roos thought he was going to produce a miracle and turn him around. Making statements we do not have the reserves like the stronger side ,who is responsible for that ? Naturally Paul Roos is ! Perhaps the club should go into liquidation then we will all be put out of our misery.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
If a player has signed on for next year and/or above does that means the club can trade that person? If out of contract the club gets squat. Therefore Trenners can be traded. Is that the case? As a club we must start thinking outside the square, look out what Swans have piked up in Pike and the Jacks brothers all from rugby backgrounds. You don't have be drunk to achieve that or suggest it,perhaps a little bold!!!!

Delistings/trades at end of the season
McKen,M.jones,Bail,Grimes,Toumpas,Watts ( currently ROOS's project ),Trengove should all go TERLICH may need to keep due to a shortage og defenders,FItzy may keep, just a gut feeling.Hunt and Harmes do not know enough regarding progress……. what you may ask. Jamar and Cross to retire. Dunn maybe play forward, not a good defender.WE need 3 gorillas,1 forward,1 back and 1 mid. Would like to get GREENE from GWS,a bargain buy would be ex Essendon player L.Jetta he is quick.
