  2. You don't need videos or fancy technology to [censored] up cats supporters. Just remind them of the average age of their playing list.

  9. Not in any order: 1. ABC multi-call was the best by the length of the straight: "Their run is a pleasure to watch". (After Brayshaw's goal'. 2. Kysaiah Pickett needs to be honoured on the forward line. IMO there were a couple of occasions where KP could have been 'hit up'. 3.TMAC didn't have a big impact but did some fantastic team things such as the unacknowledged love-tap to Petracca resulting in the dribbled goal. 4. Brayshaw was magnificent, and I don't just mean the uncle. 5.Tom Sparrow bears an uncanny resemblance to Canelo Alvarez. 6. Alan Jakovich's post-match gig with Gaddy Lyon is immortal. 7. All demon detractors are forgiven: you know red and blue are the best colours. 8...

  11. Will NEVER forget the Rd 14 vs WC 2017 win. We hadn’t won in Perth for 12 years, so there was that. But when Tmac snuck that goal in right at the end… I screamed almost as loud as I screamed when Maxy kicked the winner after the siren in Rd 23 this year. Almost. 🙂

  12. But never rule anything out. Who knows what will happen in the future? David Neitz was an AA CHB in 1995 before going forward and becoming Melbourne's leading goal scorer. Tom McDonald spent years in the backline.

  13. I reckon the win over the Tiges on Anzac eve in Rd 6 should be higher than 11. Huge game in terms of generating belief in our system and ability to execute on a big occasion at the G. We beat Richmond at their own game. They challenged hard early, we were wobbling, but we steadied and won convincing in the end. They couldn't live with our intensity. First time i really started to believe we were genuine contenders. I have a soft spot for our Rd 1 win v Gold Coast 2015. First time i enjoyed a game at the G for a long time. Beautiful Saturday afternoon. First time i had a seen us score a coast to coast goal in an age as well. A real thing of beauty from Dom Tyson

  14. Superb late-night, several-wines-in, five-weeks-later reading. Again and again, waves of ways of appreciating what has been gifted us.
