Given all the talk about draft picks and who might tank etc etc etc

I note our last 3 fixtures with interest:

Round 20 V West Coast at the G

Round 21 V Port at AAMI

Round 22 v Richmond at the G

Things could get interesting

Agree the tigers are on 2 and a half wins, have to play us 2 more times and carltank as well, prob freo over here as well as wet toast

they should get to 6 wins easy

SURELY we are not suggesting the WEAGLEs will continue their horrible form. Port are pretty awful, but to fall this far form runners up last year is a bit rich. Both the eagles and Port should have racked up a few more wins by round 20. I hate to say it, we are just THAT far off the comp this season it hurts.

i won't feel comfortable with carlton until they get there 5 wins.

i mean seirously...if they have only 4 wins by round 10 they'll probably lose the next 12 and claim Naitanui and Rich.

but seriously... carlton only need 3 more wins for the year, and richmond only 2...so i think we're pretty safe.

and Port and WCE will definietly win 5. they'v got interstate advantage also which helps

Are you serious?

You can't be sugesting that Port will be staying where they are!!!

They will easily finish top 6 ...they have too many guns in that team.

Your right they should, I had them top 4. However they were smashed big time last year after a quick Mark Williams minirefurbish, I just wonder if MW has decided that to be successfull they need a little bit more or this or that.

Well they've got the majority of their team on the field, save for Priddis and Hansen (whose overrated anyway), and they're not really putting up much of a fight. Kerr can't cope with being no. 1 instead of 2 or 3, Lynch is starved of opportunity now that the midfield is worse... sometimes clubs just have bad years so i think W.C. will do pretty bad. Not bad enough to win 4 or less, but they won't make finals

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
