Not happening. Read the herald sun today kids.

Shattered...knew it was too good to be true.

However for this football club to die there are going to be a lot of POWERFUL people that will stand-by on the wayside and let it happen.

If you are going to insinuate an argument on a poster have the good sense to get it right. Here is what I wrote on another thread:

I've got no issue with Argus' CV, in fact I think he'll be fantastic for the club. I'm just making the point that the principles of good business and customer service apply to AFL football, just like every other industry.

As an aside, it was mentioned in an article in today's Age that Graeme Samuel was also being courted for a role on the board. He would be an ideal president, as he understands the workings and politics of the AFL.

may still have legs yet - you'd expect that comment from him while hes halfway through the takeover of Rio Tinto.

It's been rumoured after the takeover goes through, he may look to step down and focus on other things.. hopefully thats us.

Properly still another 12 to 18 months before the Rio takeover rounds to a close. We need someone to come in now, not then.
