60-70 IMO, unless we completely drop the ball in our interview, or someone else blows him away, he is ours.

Totally agree.

You've got to wonder; Why would Chris Judd be interested in MFC at all, unless he was really interested in us? We are obscure to the rest of the football world. We are not a club who gets in on every little drama, ala Collingwood and Essendon. We are an organisation that modestly goes about it's own business. So then why would he have us in his top 4? The more you think about that, the more you realise we are not in this simply to make up the numbers. This boy already has us in mind, if you ask me, and is merely going through the motions with the interviews.

As Coxy said, it would take a [censored] up of catastrophic proportions by us, or an absolutely sublime presentation by another club, in order to change Judd's mind.

Juddy, you'll do me mate.

We have nothing to offer to a champion.

We accept mediocrity.

Our list is nothing to flash.

Financially we will always be just there

Our chances of securing Judd 10% ....my opinion he is going to Carlton

sad to say but true, 10-20% M.F.C will be satisfied that they gave it there "best shot'' but couldnt quite land the big prize. same old , same old!!!

I would love Judd in the Red and Blue (provided we don't have to sell the farm to get him) but I really do think we will struggle to get him.

We are the sentimental option for him, but I think that is about it....we don't have much else to offer him above the other clubs.

He is a professional athlete. He is coming from a club where each home game he has 45,000 fanatical fans cheering his every move on the field. He is used to state of the art training facilities, and more dedicated footy dept staff than he could poke a stick at! He is used to a team / club that demands success, and achieves it.

After enjoying the best of the best with the Eagles, why would he want to come to the MFC and "rough it" for the next few years while we get our act together and get a home?

Judd is a clear thinking bloke........his considered move back to Melbourne proves this.

To expect him to make so many concessions to come to the MFC based on a supposed sentimentality isn't rational, and also isn't likely.

If I was Judd, I would rank my options 1. Collingwood, 2.Bombers.3.Demons,4. Blues.

I think his preference would be to go the Pies, and as a professional athlete with a limited time in the game, and selecting his last club for his career, I couldn't blame him. I'd take the best option - facilities, supporters, profile, recent success, and plenty of games at the MCG with hardly any interstate travel !!!!!!

I hope I'm wrong, but my crystal ball shows Juddy at the Pies in a few weeks time!

I nominated 0-10% chance.

50-60 ( really 50/50 )

With a little luck as the song goes we might snag him.

He says he has no preferences ( at moment ) out of the four ... I take this in the same way that he really didnt think he made up his mind to come home til the last few months..!! Who ya kidding Juddy ?? lol.. You made up your mind 2 years ago.. just took a while to settle in your mind so as to rationalise it. The heart was already swayed.

Maybe too he holds a torch for good ol Melbourne, but needs to rationalise it to himslef, so wil go though all the gobbledy [censored] until he's comfortable wearing that red and blue #3 :)

It all just comes down to where he wants to be. I think his heart has already decided, just need his head to follow !! :)

It would be seen as a good marketing ploy to add the demons to the the bigger clubs for a trade, if you looked at it as a purely business decision.

You would then drop them off as the second place to the media.

All spin.

We will probably come last. But be shown as the "close runner up".

for god sake

i am sick and tired of reading people saying that judd will not sign because we are not a huge club in terms of success. That is bull. We have has one bad year and we are now in a rebuilding process so it is exciting times at our club. We should get Judd if Gary Lyon has his say in the matter. If we can offer him and West Coast something i would think he would sign. I would offer Travis Johnstone and Chris Johnson, or Travis Johnstone and pick 20. I seriuosly believe that Travis has got a big head and a change of club is needed for him to get the best out of his career.

He wouldn't even be put in the midfield if he was traded to W.C. No way does TJ have the work rate or class or speed to keep up with Kerr and Cousins, they would make him look second rate and would keep getting injured trying to keep up, I think TJ would cringe at going west and would rather stay at M.F.C where he is wrapped in cotton wool

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
