Would you be happier if....

we lost all our remaining games, which would keep our priority pick and strip Carlton of the No.1 pick.

or...

we won our remaining three, which would include Neita's 300th and hopefully a fantastic win at Subiaco with a young team that may end Freo's slim finals chances and have some real belief and momentum heading toward 2008.

Personally, i'd take the wins and momentum. We all know the top picks in a draft doesn't always equate to the best player or even team success. Building a winning culture is more important to me. The Pies and Blues are winnable games, and i would love nothing more than to finish off Freo's season as they did to us last year, so i will be cheering us on for 3 wins.

win win win!! beat blues and pies twice in a season would be almost acceptable for this year. plus the young guys need to know they can win even with so many people out, we need to build the base for a winning culture, and it starts now!

I want to win all 3

Give us a 4 game winning streak going into 2008 on the back of our young dynamic team

We will beat the Pies and Blues for sure, so that means we are looking at picks 3 and 19, with no priority pick

We can trade into the first round to get extra high picks if we want to. A new coach will see big moves, and some big names may be dealt to get up higher in the draft order

But yeah, winnin comes before an extra pick whch would be pick 22

Of course I'd take the wins.

Ideally I want Carlton to win before the season is out so they can miss out on the PP (I don't care where they finish) but I don't want that win against us, so I hope they knock over Essendon.

After last night, we clearly aren't tanking, which I have some small satisfaction in saying.

We're better off with winning at this stage. There's nothing better then leading into the season of the end of a few wins. It'll give everyone involved with the club some hope for 2008.

And like it's been said, we MUST win for Neitz this weekend. In a year with nothing much to be happy about, seeing the skipper being chaired off is going to make it worth it.

Last night was a real surprise, but I would love to win next week for Neita (with the added bonus of beating the Pies).

After next week however, I'm not fussed whether we win or lose, and taking the priority pick away from Carlton, would be incredibly satisfying.

WIN WIN WIN....Last night felt soooo good...nearly felt like a grand final win ( DARE TO DREAM).

But we need to win for Neita and we need to beat COLLINGWOOD again !!!!!

Jaded I'd be hoping that Essendon do that for us.

After that I'd like to win them all - finish off the year with a bit of momentum. Might be useful when punters are deciding whether to renew memberships in 2008. It might be the light in that long tunnel that convinces members that there is cause for optimism & that they want to put their hands in their pockets & be a part of it. Might also be useful if we do end up in the trade market - we need anything we can get to make us look an attractive destination.

I'd like to win every match left, except Rnd 22 (assuming Carlton dont win another match before then). It would be brilliant to be in control of the match, then in the final minute kick rushed behind on purpose, really ridiculous ones from like 50 out, to hand them the win, thus robbing them of their priority pick, and granting us a higher pick. That way, it's a win win. We get a better pick. We were better than them, and handed them the match despite the fact we were in control. The AFL would then be forced to changed the drafting rules.

Win them all thanks!

We'll still get an awesome pick in the draft (3), end the season on a 4 game winning streak (although Freo over there will be almost impossible) and end a shocking season on a great note.

I'll take no satisfaction if we lose to Carlton in round 22...if the prority pick is off the table for us.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak

    POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Carlton

The Demons were blown out of the water in the first quarter and clawed their way back into the contest but it was a case of too little too late as they lost another close one to Carlton losing by 1 point at the MCG.
