Great news!

What a huge bright light he's been in this season from hell.

Onya Ricky, good to see. I reckon Riley would chuck him straight into the melbourne lineup when fit, he's a future star and there's no point playing him at Sandy considering.

There are players that could really gain from his guts, i'm not convinced of any star quality yet but he's earned my admiration.

Hell, just to have that 1m needle thumped into his lung (ala Pulp Fiction, only not his heart) is enough to suggest he's got the courage and guts needed at AFL, and puts some of the MFC players to shame.

Great news for everyone and he continues to be one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal year......

But please sweetie don't rush, or push yourself for a possible return this season, you are more valuable than that.

Your return will be a welcome one but only as of next year when you are fully fit and we are not in a play for nothing position.

How great it is to hear Ricky is well on the road to recovery....showing his" guts" and " determination" to his team mates...hope they all take notice. Well done Ricky but take care!!!! :wub: :wub:

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
