Happy day of cake, Ghostie! I've not watched today's game, hope your wishes came true!

Far out, if we can’t beat this rubbish Saints team next week we have some issues

they are trash

Saints polish disappeared under pressure.

Reckon they needed some Steele… ;)

Interesting 🤨

They have a game under their belt, don’t underestimate the advantage that brings

Even if we win we have issues.

They were slow tonight, many rushed Kicks.

Get to Work Coach King….

Seeing the Saints go 0-2 would make a win next week extra special.

Def: Sinclair
Mid: NWM
Fwd: Higgins

Cut the influence of those three and the Saints struggle to win

$2 million dollar man tagged out of the game by Perryman. 😂😂😂

Saw this a mile away. NWM, Wilkie, Sinclair are top line A graders, but their list overall is just vanilla. Can’t be relying on said players week to week.

To call St Kilda flag contenders and how hyped up they were all summer by the media never ceases to surprise. This happened in 2021 after making the pandemic finals series and the same thing is happening again.

so they played a game. We will prepare as professionals

No excuses

They will be battered and bruised so that evens things up

You can train all you want but nothing compares to a game of footy for building match hardened fitness.

The interrupted PS game vs Richmond hasn’t helped

Salem's 200th and Langfords 20th birthday next Sunday against the Saints.

Edit: and possibly T-macs 250th! Thanks ghosty.

We have three huge milestones in the first three matches of the season, (depending on selection):

Salo 200 and Tmac 250 in round 1

Melky 250 in round 2

Max 250 in round 3

No Marshall means the Saints will be short up forward, they already don’t have a lot to kick to without King there, something we need to take advantage of in good conditions at the G

You’d assume they might bring in Keeler as a tall option. TDK did look out of gas in the fourth, hoping Gawn can use his fitness to his advantage.

I think the Saints paid too much for De Koning, It kinda equals to us having to pay towards Oliver's salary. DeKoning and Silvani are players I wouldn't get , I just don't rate them.

Nasiah and Pickett are also overpaid players , but I can understand MFC coming to the party. Also we able to get Latrelle.

I’m not saying we can’t win, just need a good start and everything to go right

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
