74 - 30 koz 4 goals

Back koz for the Brownlow

Mihocek - unsighted after first quarter, likely concussion or shoulder/ribs

CJ - off at half time. Salem - on at half time

X Taylor, Mentha and Adams unsighted so far

So effective playing 23.

And take Mad Max 2 off too. We need him Rd 1 vs TDK and Marshall

Not bashing him as he’s done a few nice things since coming on but Salo just went back in to traffic with a handball no doubt after years of Viney, Tracc and Clarry being there.

Meanwhile Steele and Windsor I think were coming to the open near side.

Not those other beats around the ground, though. Headache inducing!

Jeffo starting to lead up at the footy. Getting more involved even if he's not taking the mark.

Moose has gone back into the pack 4 times now. So gutsy

If you can access a web browser on the TV, log in through the website. I have done and worked for me. Otherwise, you have to go through the whole QR code shuffle, which will take till half time.

Thanks, this worked.

How has Langford, Salem, Sparrow and Sharp been going?

Salem on at half time for CJ

Sparrow some good contested work and a power of running, misses a set shot or two and disposal not amazing but overall fine

Langford, a little hold and cold. Mix of wing and on ball. Just a little off the pace

Sharp - his inability to give the first option handball continues to kill scoring chances

Sharpy with a brilliant run down tackle!

Fantastic tackle by Sharp.

XL is such a smooth mover. Has class written all of him.

Latrelle runs through the middle of the ground, takes FIVE bounces and cleverly finds JVR who just misses.

harvey sharp great tackle!

It was! Is Taylor playing?

The picketts are on fire

Why are the umps blowing their whistle 3 times for a mark

driving me nuts!

Latrelle having a purple patch here, even if his disposal isn't quite hitting the mark. Showing some smoove moves in the midfield.

Luker gets a free and goals from dead in front. His second of the day. He's looked good today.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
