Are you serious? If a trade isn't done, he's at Melbourne. We have the upper hand.

Yeah no

A trade will be done

Trac is not coming back

Well I like him

So do I. Then i liked Frosty except on gameday when he gave me several heart attacks.

Welcome CJ.

Great replacement for Judd. Ensures Riv and others do not have to make up the difference in the backline next year.

Hereโ€™s an ideaโ€ฆ how about we warmly welcome CJ to our club?!

Some ppl are [censored] unbelievable

Should get done for a late pick. He's not been given a game consistently and was starting sub 6 times this year.

It might need to be a future pick as we need to keep a pick in the 40s for Kalani White.

CJ is a good pickup for the cheap price. At worst, he gives us run and depth. At best, he becomes an absolute speed demon who plays a central role in Kings attacking new vision.

I think you'll find that the reason the trade has not happened yet, is because a trade hasn't been agreed to. So trac can sook all he wants, but if the GC offer isn't commensurate, the deal ain't happening. This is from a very reliable source and I have full faith that the club will stick to their word

Adds a bit of flair and spunk to the team on and off the field.

He'll also get our young supporter base interest as well considering he is fairly active on the social media scene with TikTok etc.

I'm going to need to hire an intern. I just got used to The Face Books.

CJ can keep his #9 โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Love this.

Athletic, quick, strong - many things we are not at the back

Played 20 games this year

At 26yo and 76 games he is ready to take his game to the next level

Once he kicks within his talent level (T Mac can help you learn this) he'll be a great pick up

But can he cook?

He lost it for a while

It was a sad time for all

He'll probably get more of a go & play out full games.

With the right coaching I'm confident he'll go OK.

Couldn't be any worse than when we drafted hunter, Schache or McAdam

A late 2nd rounder/early 3rd rounder should do it

If you havenโ€™t already watched it yโ€™all should watch the Unfiltered episode with CJ. Itโ€™s brilliant.

Itโ€™s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Nightโ€™s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourneโ€™s memorable premiership triumph.

  • NON-MFC: Round 02

The compromised AFL fixture will get another test this week with the first lot of teams getting a bye after only two matches. Despite this Round 2 starts off with two cracking games as the Hawks host the Swans at the G on Thursday Night and then on Friday Night the Crows host the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, weโ€™ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binmanโ€™s Stats Files. Not because it isnโ€™t important; quite the opposite. Itโ€™s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourneโ€™s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last yearโ€™s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although itโ€™s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sundayโ€™s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to foolโ€™s gold.
