i gave an example of what i want him to say with ANB. why he is leaving, was it a tough decision. something not clearly AI generated.

the out pouring of love on here is nice to see but i donโ€™t reckon he gives a rats which is sad

The "not giving a rats" bit is bang on I reckon...that's the sad part

So Oliver hasn't posted so is not a genuine, good fella?

His circumstances were slightly different, but agree not a great look for a club that supported him for the last 2-3 years through his challenges.

Ultimately, if that is the way they chose to play it, says a lot more about them, than it does about the club.

Geez trac canโ€™t bloody win.

I didnโ€™t think there was anything wrong with his farewell post. It seemed genuine and heartfelt. Heโ€™s a legend of the club and a premiership player.

I wish Trac all the very best, worth remembering this guy is a life member of our club and we witnessed a premiership in large part due to trac

I don't really care if he did or he didn't, really just bemused by the hypocrisy from some to give Oliver excuses and leeway while scrutinising everything Petracca does.

The difference in latitude on here to our champions in Trac and Oliver is unbelievable.

It is almost like everyone wants to tear down the 'tall poppy' (Trac) and find fault but talk up 'bambi' (Oliver) and expunge all bad behaviour.

Nearly every criticism of Trac on here can be said about Oliver.

Sometimes I wonder if there is any rationality left in the world.

Grow man is sad because said player doesnt use words that pleases him when saying goodbye.

Life is certainly hard here on Demonland.

sorry. might have triggered a few on here

Love you Trac! beautiful words

better?

Seriously, we didn't force him out. People need to stop using that line.

Even if we did, what the club has done for him and the adoration of fans through thick and thin, deserves some acknowledgement.

If he can't do that well it shows his true colours.

of course we forced him out

we didnโ€™t say bugger off

but said he can play other positions which he literally cannot do

but overall we bent over backwards for him. agreed

Couldn't have said it any better. The amount of babysitting the club did for Oliver was next level. Gawn took him in his home while his wife was preganant and the club let him skip the 2024 pre-season as well as a game this year so that he can look after his mental health.

Yet apparently he's the victim of this barbaric club while Trac is the villain. Makes no sense.

Think you triggered yourself fella considering you were the one moaning about it initially.

I wouldn't want to be in the trenches with him.

While I agree with the rest of your post, this trite old phrase should be put on the banned forever pile!

Christian Petracca via Instagram

To the Melbourne Football Club, thank you for the past 11 years.

Thank you to the club, the fans, and my teammates for making it so special. I'm incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, and experiences both on and off the field. I'Il always be proud to have worn the red and blue, to be a premiership player, and a life member. A chapter Iโ€™ll never forget. โค๏ธ

I have just searched for it and can't see it anywhere. Neither from Clarrie

Says a lot to me about these two

Clarry hasnโ€™t made a post and to be honest I wouldnโ€™t be surprised if he did since he seems to still be frustrated at the club. Trac has posted and Iโ€™ve just checked itโ€™s still up on his instagram the first post after his two pinned posts. Adding a screenshot isnโ€™t working for me so Iโ€™m unable to include the photo.

Thanks. I'm really interested in your opinion.

How is that message AI generated? AI uses a litany of platitudes and em-dashes, none of which are in his post. GPT would say "thank you", not "thankyou".

It is literally the first non-pinned post on his Instagram.

Honestly reckon Trac may have lost his passion and love for footy after his lacerated spleen injury.

Reckon heโ€™ll play out his contract but his focus will be opening restaurants and selling cook books

Not judging just observing

Otherwise he would have pushed to go to a big team in front of big crowds imo

Yeah I actually heard this at one stage, that he wasnt just possibly wanting out of MFC but had even fallen out of love for the game. But that didnt gell with the Deebrief guys saying he shopped himself to the pies behind his then manager's back so who knows.

I think its pretty clear his AFL career was stopping his genius cooking endeavors from flourishing.

Good luck and good fortune to both you and Bella going forward. Fortunately Suns donโ€™t get to play on the G often so wonโ€™t have to watch you in Foreign colours.๐Ÿฅฒ

We didn't FORCE Tracc out.

He prized open that door all by himself.
