Unfortunate we don't have anything better

Bottom four finish guaranteed if that is the best we can come up with. No room for Lindsay?

I like it.

HOW DARE YOU I'M FUMING!

Well I think we will trade Petracca for Flanders, Walter and Read throw in Rosas for nothing and we will throw in 23 for their academies. If we get Read and Walter we won't need Miochek.

I doubt we get Flanders. He's off to St Kilda.

Rosas Jr is deciding out of Sydney or Richmond according to Riley Bev and Cal.

That's an 8-15 side at best. We won't even be in the hunt for the wild card.

Define “realistic” 🙃

For starters, I’m not seeing LK44 in your best 23, so on a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being extremely crr@p and 10 being a tiny bit crr@p, this is a solid 1 😁

Realistic, yet none of the five ins are Demons and two of the three outs ARE Demons 🤷‍♀️

Season 2026 can’t come soon enough

For me it's the young guys! i'd love to see Kentfield, Jefferson, Tholstrup, Laurie, Van Rooyen, Windsor, Bowey, Monez Wakefield, Langford, Lindsay, Adams and so on all have huge pre-seasons and lock in spots.

I really like our young guys, hopefully especially the key forwards will absolutely thrive in a new system with faster ball movement

Imagine Derksen being probably promised the ones and moves back to the twos for Casey. Rough.

Same here, gut feeling that Laurie won’t get a crack. Feel like he is doing great in VFL and below average in AFL and needs to display a lot more. He also just needs a few more opportunities which he wasn’t getting under Goody.

Round 1

B: Lever Disco AMW

HB: Bowey Petty Mcvee

C: Langdon Rivers Langford

HF: Culley Mihocek Chandler

F: Fritsch JVR Trac

R: Gawn Oliver Kozzy

Jesus we need a small forward or two honestly

Please, Please, Please not Mihocek. Too old and too short. Got plenty of players his height. Why move May on and then recuit a player almost as old

Possibly because age has nothing to do with either trade.

FB: Turner Adams W. Lual*
HB: Rivers Petty McVee*
C; Bowie Langford Lindsay
HF: Henderson Mihocek Pickett
FF: Fritsch Kentfield Chandler
Foll: Gawn Oliver WIndsor
Int: Salem, Viney, Tholstrup, Culley, Derksen

Backline: Lever, McDonald, AMW, Howes
Mids: Langdon, Laurie, Sparrow, Woey*
Forward: JVR, Jeffo, AJ, Mentha, Melksham, Sharp, McAdam
Rucks: Heath, Campbell

Lual is kind of a stand in for a tall back pocket with defensive versatility. I think we need that kind of player just a matter of who it is.

Derksen is picked as the 5th bench spot who covers forward, back and in the ruck.

Viney is pretty purely a midfield rotation, where as the rest of guys on the bench - Salem, Kolt, Culley are used in a variety or roles and wings and half backs should all be used in a variety of roles.

I don't think Derksen has been guaranteed a game at all. A longer contract yes I think it's 3 years but that's all he'll have to earn his spot just like the rest.

There’s a few out there choices but we aren’t going to get anywhere keeping the same best 22 as the last couple of years.

This is also before adding anyone aside from Derksen and Mihocek.

Yeh, well I imagine they said he would play. I guess he would move for more money but if they said you’re playing twos he may not have moved. Guess don’t know.

Hopefully he goes well and it’s a good fit for both the club and him/his family.
