Max Gawn. Should win. He was the best player in my view. But those umpires are blind so he’s unlucky again.

It’s Nick uncontested Daicos as favourite!! 🤬

Surely the Crows 18 wins mean that Jordan Dawson is a definite chance.

It could be Anderson or Rowell. Both are champions but could steal votes off each other.

McCluggage had a sensational year. He would be a deserving winner.

Bazball might get plenty of votes … his flowing hair will attract ! I hope he doesn’t win. He’s a [censored] !!

Could Caleb Serong be So-Right!! 🤣🤣

But it might be the upset … Tom Green. He is a star

jacob dawson!! you've been watching too much vfl!

Jordon dawson is my pick however

This medal used to be always won by a good player from a lesser club. It was simply that at the higher clubs there were other "good" players who split the votes.
It's obviously changed.
I'd love to a breakdown on how many players got three votes in a losing team. Similarly where a team loses by 15 points or more how many times does a player in the losing team get votes.

Strikes me as a perfect science project for a gambling syndicate.

A note to all players with long hair:

WASH YOUR HAIR

Many thanks

Big night on Fox tonight.

Bucks doesn’t look happy that Lewis is wearing his woollen shirt.

Jack is keen on talking about the Primly finlists.

Bucks is adamant that Pendlebury has never had a muscular injury in his life 🙄

PS- black tie means a tie. Not a turtle neck. It also means a suit. Not a blazer you found in the back of your cupboard and some chinos from Target

Maybe max is a smoky. He won’t have team mates taking votes off him so you never know.

Would love that, I reckon he will poll alright too, we didn’t win many games though :/

Viney with the three votes in round 1 is a surprise.

Anyone but kick in Dacos.

Gets so many possessions from kick in then looks brilliant. (Yes he’s also very skilled).

He’s a stat-paddler. A teammate will take a mark around the wing, then Daicos sprints into space to receive a very short kick. Or he runs behind that teammate and gets the easy handball. No doubt very skilled and quick. And when he needs to boost his stats, he then takes the kick-ins after a point.

No Jack tonight. Enjoying the newborn life.

Confirmed Trac and Kosi both in attendance.

I also believe Langford and Lindsay as they were both nominated for the Rising Star.

The Melbourne ladies all look outstanding and the boys all put on actual suits and washed their hair / beard. Well done.

Darcy Moore’s partner’s dress took 800 hours to construct. EIGHT HUNDRED HOURS, and it’s not a house.

And it’s not nice either

Sorry Not Sorry School GIF

And unless Darcy was constructing it, there is no excuse for the Wiggle look he pulled.

  • AFLW REPORT: West Coast

Melbourne’s response to last week’s heartbreak was emphatic, as the Demons delivered a statement win over West Coast at a windswept Casey Fields. All of the pre-match hype surrounded the coach’s box matchup of Mick Stinear up against his apprentice, Daisy Pearce along with the gloomy weather forecast. In the end, it was less about tactical chess and more about Melbourne’s relentless execution. With rain looming, the DeeArmy and early birds snapped up the best undercover viewing spots.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.
