Petty and Turner can play either end. Johnson was touted as someone that could play back as well and while we've persisted with JvR forward, he performed very well at U18 level in defence and could potentially move there.

If Jefferson makes it, he looks mainly to be a forward while Kentfield has looked better behind the ball at VFL level.

If we add Morris to the mix (more of a 3rd tall but plays above his height), what would our ideal tall fwd set up be?

We were reportedly keen on Waterman last year who is also 191cm so we obviously don't see height as an issue and perhaps that type of player, particularly one with some athleticism and strong overhead, could complement our team.

I think we were after Georgiades too and he is around that height.

It would be foolish to not have a contingency plan in place if Jeffo can't find a bit of intensity to his game. Shades of Schache and Weid

The tea leaves can be telling.

It's anyone's guess how they are assessing Jeffo at the moment. Kind of feels like they were obliged to give him his debut but no further plans.

Interestingly, G Healy and B Johnson on SEN re-casted the 2023 draft order and had Morris at #1. Windsor was at about 4 or 5 and Kolt wasn't mentioned.

The problem is, I don't recall a player ever doing this. Does anyone have any examples of it?

I believe you cannot teach/train a player to really improve intensity, hardness and general competitiveness. You either have it or you don't.

We should be looking to trade him for what ever we can get at the end of the season before he just becomes completely valueless.

Trade him now for hopefully a late 2nd or keep him on this list for 3-4 more years and delist him.

Easy decision IMO. Same for Fullarton.

I see Logan Morris as a similar player to Nate Caddy that ultimately turn into a Brody Mihochek type which I think is the model forward of the modern game.

The Sam Darcy’s of this world are a unicorn.

I think Healy is a good judge of talent. Often when he is commentating he mentions the qualities of a player I've never heard of. He is usually right.

We simply do not have the gamestyle for undersized key forwards. They way we move the ball slowly and try to get repeat entries and bomb it long means the only type of KPF that would truly do well in our forwardline is a genuine 198cm+ type.

youre probs right overall. Cotchin was considered a 'soft' player then became more of a kamikaze maniac later in his creeer. I remember Brad Green was more outside then became the same maniac later in his career.

Some can be calm gentlemen in normal life like Dangerfield then switch into absolute beasts when they cross the white line.
