Iโ€™d value AMW as a far more attacking player than Judd.

Judd is becoming very Salem like with his ball use, itโ€™s safe but not damaging

I haven't seen AMW enough at AFL level to know for sure and he may well end up forward.

You're second point is possibly due more to gameplan than his attributes. I think at his best in a well drilled team he's finding teammates forward of centre. You've also got to remember that our defence as a whole has been way down on its best the last 2 years. That alone will impact Judd without the issues i've mentioned in a previous post. Let's hope King can unlock the puzzle. Goodwin was no slouch as a coach though so it remains to be seen.

Iโ€™m of the belief that Judd wants to play a role that doesnโ€™t suit Judd, hence why heโ€™s not played there.

Iโ€™ll be very happy if it turns out to be incorrect and he flourishes, further up the field

he wouldn't be alone there tho - rivers wants to be a midfielder but his defensive workrate as a mid is non-existent, hence why he keeps getting shunted to half back

mcvee has the capacity to be one of the elite lockdown defenders in the competition; i know midfielders get to run around a lot more, but the likes of jetta, starcevich etc. are far rarer and just as valuable imo

I think the running back role is perfect for him as he can use his kicking skills going forward.theres not many good kicks in this melbourne side atm so I feel he's wasted as the lock

Oh I hope in this binary world - we get the latter. Or put more succinctly:

or on zero levels.

So the coach has been announced, if we don't get an announcement preceding or following King's presser on Monday is it safe to assume he's goneski?

@Ghostwriter go tell Judd that Ted is getting impatient and either he or the club needs to announce it soon or Iโ€™ll unleash my evil alter-ego on them โ€œled tassoโ€

Pretty sure that's the answer to your equation Ethan.

Completely agree

I swear I read somewhere that Judd told someone that he had re-signed with us.

I swear I read somewhere that that โ€˜someoneโ€™ will end up with MASSIVE egg on their face should the situation play out contrary to what Judd has been telling that โ€˜someoneโ€™ all along. Mind you, not just egg, but MASSIVE egg. Oh and that that โ€˜someoneโ€™ will look stupid as well (which is redundant since MASSIVE egg on oneโ€™s face is stupid-looking enough, surely).

Judd McVeeโ€™s contract and signing surely sits with GM Richardson and List Manager Tim Lamb. Now that we have our new coach, Iโ€™d expect this to get sorted out in the next few days.

Do you dream this stuff up ?

Your comments on both Rivers & McVee come from fantasy land.

Jeremy Howe says hi. Left to go to the Pies where he was promised more time taking speccies up forward ... and we know how that turned out.

Soz @juddmcveegoat, love you โ€˜nโ€™ all but Luciโ€™s got you on this one. Sheโ€™s been Juddโ€™s #1 fan since the beginning. Youโ€™ll have to settle on being his #2 fan.

Mind you, she did dump Jayden for Salo, then dumped Salo for Judd, so stick around, she may just ditch Judd for someone else ๐Ÿ˜…

If she thinks sheโ€™s gonna be Lukerโ€™s #1 fan, the gloves are off. Word.

Yeah- taking speccies as a back

Me thinks ghosty may have been set up for a fall by Judd Mcvee, feel sorry for her but not for JMc, hope we get something worthwhile for a hb plodder. If freo give us a second rounder, GW might feel better next year. If JMc has done this then maybe it might be good he goes.

That darn dirty rat set me up for a fall? Knuckle, the hb plodder??? Thatโ€™s a knuckle sandwich cominโ€™ his way. See what I did there ๐Ÿ˜

You know, Iโ€™m starting to think youโ€™re not a real Viscount ๐Ÿคจ

Why would freo give us a 2nd rounder for a hb plodder.i think freo have plans to turn him into another Jordan Clarke,[censored] that'll hurt.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
