Take a walk and have a breather mate.

And I'm not your mate

You take a walk Laddie

Anyway, you'll probably get your wish with Goodwin but the make-up of the team will still be full of plodders

If Goodwin was honest with himself he would admit he isn’t able to get the best out of this group and step aside. Maybe it’s harsh but I feel like he has underachieved relative to where we would expect to be in every season but 2018 and 2021. That doesn’t mean we need to contend every year but it doesn’t excuse these sorts of years either

He may or may not admit that. But he won’t publicly because that foregoes a 7 figure pay out….

As for the players ... Coach killers just like in 2011 & 2013

They rule the roost and I'm surprised more people here can't see it

They've let themselves down, the jumper and the coach

But they'll still receive their fat cheques. Lazy bludgers

2 of our starting 4 out of the middle have been avoiding contact all season

What sort of an example does that set for the rest of the team and the youngsters?

What does happen is that sort of stuff can spread through the team in no time. And the opposition know full well too

Teams come at us and we jump out of the way. Our senior players should have taken it upon themselves to secure the win yesterday

But they went missing

Stop blaming the coach for the players faults. They're well paid and can think and act for themselves

Its sad but in his first game back Trac avoided hard contact he would have given ir absorbed previously. It was there for all to see. I am not criticizing him for it but means he is now held to a different stsndard.

As mentioned a page or two back, I think the best scenario we could hope for is that Goody announces he'll finish at seasons end tonight.

That would be the best outcome and get us focussed on finding a new young coach asap before the other clubs get rolling.

We have to make changes now.

Not in 6 weeks.

Goodwin won't be quitting

Who walks away from $Millions? Not going to happen

Of much greater concern is the state of the list. We won't be challenging for finals anytime soon even with a new coach

We're too slow and we look old. Skills are woeful and many of the players have checked out anyway

We've got a mountain of problems

How does Champ sound then, mate?

Not only that but the Oliver fiasco and various other off-field incidents

We're not a happy team and there's a disconnect amongst the senior players

They are just playing for themselves and our general teamwork is woeful

We've gone from selfless to selfish in a very short space of time. Every man for themselves

Sure, we can turn it on at times but we're like Jeckyl & Hyde. Can't be trusted

The coach might be on his way out but the list needs to be turned over. We need hungry experienced talent and we need to clear out the deadwood

Any player who wants out needs to be traded

Not sure, buddy

What do you reckon?

Can we stop blaming Goody as the sole reason every time we lose? The players were woeful. Gave away the game with an infringement. Thats hardly goodys fault

Just easier to blame one

Then going to have to get rid of a lot more than him. It’s just scapegoating

No, it’s accountability. The AFL is a business. On-going poor performance is on the Head Coach.

Of course we can sack Goodwin. We sacked Neeld with 18 months to go and paid him. Jackson said the poor performance on-field was costing us a lot financially.

What big changes are coming ? (according to Tom) if the board has publicly ally back the coach (Guerra too).

Agree totally Macca. Some maybe many are treating it as an occupation, just do enough to hold your job and get paid.

Spot on and that's the way I see it as well

'Just do enough'

The trouble is that they've taken advantage of Goodwin's caring nature for the players. So we end up with the cart before the horse

But in my view he'll ultimately be the fall guy and the players will get off the hook

However, I well remember that Adelaide cleared out McGuiness, McDermott, Anderson & Andrew Jarman before Blight took over (under instructions from the incumbent?)

Perhaps history will repeat as the Crows won 2 flags starting from Blight's 2nd year

Yes but it's a shame Viney turns the ball over so much

Also there were a lot of joggers in the last quarter pm

Viney is NOTHING more than a rugby player playing Aussie Rules

Was my attempt at humour Byron...

I can no longer defend him.

I understand what they were trying to do yesterday, but there has to be a point you lock down.

Could we somehow jimmy Uze out of Rich? Get all his Dees buddies in his ear ASAP.

Other than that, I like Buckley, Horse, and Ken. Worsfold might be a good coach but he just rubs me up the wrong way.

Yes, Goody is a decent caring guy. Yesterday he talked ruthlesseness but it foesnt sound right coming from him.

The Blight scenario is appropriate
