Grab a proper home training venue like caulfield and win another flag and I reckon we could be right up in the top echelon.

I would have thought that the Dees would be vying with the Hawks for the #5 spot in Melbourne (in terms of supporter base size)?

100%

we're never going to be as big as the filth, the baggers, or the peptides but i think everyone is well aware of that

the puddy tatts have the distinct advantage of being mega-rich due to their stadium deal and their spread of western victoria support

but we can absolutely compete with the likes of hawthorn IF we win multiple premierships during a 40 year stretch like they did from the 1970s to the 2010s - 11 premierships from 1976 to 2015 is just an extraordinary fillip to grow a supporter base

friend of a friend from wa goes for them and i asked why he never switched to meth coke in the 1980s / 1990s and his response was unequivocal - he started going for hawthorn in the late 70s / early 80s cos they were always winning, always being covered by the media, and kept winning

success begats success

Would love for it to be seanmháir but it will likely be babcia (pronounced Bub-cha) since she’ll be born in Poland.

Thanks George_O_T_Outer, we need a couple of big wins on the trot to get us back on line with our 2023 numbers.

Ouch George OTO that loss is going to hurt prospects memberships seems to have stalled still better than 2022 figures though.!!

Never fear, DeeZ they numbers should bounce back.

In May last year (and I think 2022) the club had 3-game specials at a discounted price.  Last year it was to celebrate Kozzie re-signing and membership iirc was $36, his playing number.

I bought a few and they came in handy when buying extra finals tickets.

I assume the club will soon have another special to boost numbers.   Well, I hope they do. 🤞

This isn’t about our membership numbers but it’s another example of why membership numbers aren’t really worth comparing imho.

When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
