5.4 to 1 behind 👏👏👏

A whole game's score not so long ago.

'Exponential' development? A bit hyperbolic, maybe, but...

Maybe he had it wrong to start with but Hore as a spare back to kill momentum, then on ball to get them going, Heath tagging and Paxy Pacman out of the congestion to half forward have all been excellent coaching moves from Mick.

Continuity is the Dees big advantage over the comp. For the sake of the league hopefully ever other side can get something similar.

First few seasons it was kick/chase or kick to contest & repeat, now that they’re getting overlap run and some longer kicking they can move it so much faster and scoring opens up

Paxy doesn't seem to be aging at all. very good as always

Please excuse my ignorance, but has Paxman had a change in first name?

See earlier discussion.

Side observation: Commentary developing nicely with development in the game.

Banno, don't DO that!

Heater is fantastic

jeez. got a fright there when bannon grabbed her knee. thought she was badly injured

All our forwards are fighting for spots because Aimee Mackin is going to come in and runs rings around teams very shortly (I hope)

This is a bit scary good...

Eliza West is Viney like.

Harris and Zanker are a great double act for us.

May this game mirror our men’s game on Thursday. Relentless pressure, sexy ball use inside 50, domination of the Pies.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
