the Bont is clearly the best most complete player in the league.

I agree in terms of completeness and an ability to dominate midfield and forward

Trac isn’t bad either tho and he has one thing Bont doesn’t have, which is a Norm Smith

collingwood don't start trying until the last quarter...Unfortunately i still think they will win

Congratulations, they’ll beat a bottom 4 side. Why are they even in this position against them?

Whatever happens today the Hawks won’t be easy to beat for the rest of the season.

What a dumb strategy 😂

I'm backing the Hawks Mr Leg.

This game is why the MCG is one of the great stadiums in the world. The atmosphere is electric.

We are very lucky to have the G.

The surprising form of Hawks and WCE should be a warning to us NOT to be in anyway complacent tomorrow - though, granted, Kangaroos are not birds of prey.

I'm glad Max hasn't been tested.

Daicos drops the ball....play on.

His Brownlow favouritism must be taking a nose dive now with Bonts game last night and the fact that he hasn’t polled a vote in the last month.

According to the umpires he’s polled 20 votes in the last month. One per touch 🙄

Good to see Hawks showing their wares. We won’t be taking them lightly in a couple of weeks.

I agree, but this is collingwood we are talking about.... not exactly geniuses

A good team starts strongly, can hold the lead; once behind, able to give a quick response; or come from a long way back to win a game in an empty stadium, like we did in Rd 23 in 2021. Collinwood is very much questionable in my opinion.

  • CASEY: Coburg

The Casey Demons returned to their home ground which was once a graveyard for opposing teams but they managed to gift the four points on offer to Coburg with yet another of their trademark displays of inaccuracy in front of goals and some undisciplined football that earned the displeasure of the umpires late in the game. The home team was welcomed by a small crowd at Casey Fields and looked right at home as it dominated the first three quarters and led for all bar the last five minutes of the game. In the end, they came away with nothing, despite winning everywhere but on the scoreboard and the free kick count.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide

The Demons were wasteful early before putting the foot down early in the 2nd quarter but they chased tail for the remainder of the match. They could not get their first use of the footy after half time and when they did poor skills, execution and decision making let them down.
