This is great! Keep up the momentum boys. Build the percentage with 100+ win please!

Great half Dees.  Now it is time to really get going Q4 and 4

This is the softest game I’ve ever attended

When was the last time we were 11 goals up at half time?

The half time score against Brisbane in Round 23 last year was identical.

Yeah but usually we're on the receiving end like nth are. It's nice to sit back and enjoy this

Schache needs to keep his bloody feet and stay involved in the contest if he wants to differentiate himself from Big Ben.

One of the few low lights. Happy to play behind and stand there while getting beaten in the ruck and looks like he’s on ice skates the way he never keeps his feet.

One of the best performances I’ve ever seen. There’s not a weak link in the team. We haven’t even eased off for a second. Every time they kick we almost intercept. I know north are [censored], but this is the most clinical, brutal team I have seen in a long while. I would fear any team that plays us

Minus a broke leg, I guess…but yeah, looks fairly…free spirited…

Great half of footy. Sure we did some silly things but that's about 10% of the time. Can only play who we're playing and we've brought a really good level of work rate and fight.

After being pants'd by North for ao many years it's still just nice to beat them!

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • PREGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons are set to embark on a four-week road trip that takes them across the country, with two games in Adelaide and a clash on the Gold Coast, broken up by a mid-season bye. Next up is a meeting with the inconsistent Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
