Petty on one leg. FGS not in the back line, put him forward make bbb rum Tmac back

I know he won us a flag but sometimes it seems Goody is slow to make changes at times.

Give Tracc some Grippo FCS

T-Mac barely sighted after his first goal at about the 5 minute mark

That sums it up. Trac eats those balls for breakfast. Gets done for HTB.

Way too late. Probably should have addressed the clearance spanking an hour ago I think.

Grundy trying hard but boy.... how many times has he found Lion tonight

Ah yes, THAT kick from Grundy. what outstanding intelligence.

Well my prediction proved a little enthusiastic 😂

Mine too 😩😩

Lever and Bowey get a pass - not many others.

Fancy giving that doofus Daniher 4 goals

The same kick every other player of ours has been doing all night, but it's Grundys fault now?

Melbourne's delivery into the 50 had been great tonight.....great at putting it down a Brisbane's defenders throat.

We’ve given up.

Honestly humiliating performance this

Apart from us playing poorly and lions playing better

we still have a putrid entry into the F50

Sorry we are gone worst loss in 10 years!

So you clearly have forgotten the 2018 PF, just for starters.  Or last year's first loss v Freo

It's time to bring in JVR for T-Mac and Disco for Tomo me thinks

Wow so many of the comments tonight are way over the top. 2nd game in lost our skip . The lions bought the heat we where not up to tonight but long way to go in the season. People need to get some perspective

Don't think so. The perspective is even with Max down we have simply been putrid. Basic skills lacking. Soft tackles . No run. It's been a shocker with maybe 2 or 3 acceptable performances. I eish it were not so but it's the truth.

This was a grudge match and I know max is a huge out it doesn't excuse this lack of effort from so many.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
