Nice work out of the middle.

Bell, Gregory, Dunstan, Moniz ending with a nice contested mark to Sestan 30 meters out.  Kicks truly for his second in a row.

Lovely work from Bill on the Hff boundary to Smithy who dribbles one through truly on a tight angle

I hope not, Tapscott never did anything for Melbourne.

Every time I see him I automatically think Allen Jakovich.

Good quarter from our young forwards getting going in that quarter. AMW and Seston both helping to break it open.

JVR does some great things as an extra mid when in the ruck.

Jed Adams gave away a goal with a free kick, then the next inside 50 he took a strong grab, played on and drove the ball long to advantage that set up a goal. He hasn’t had to do much and hasn’t been perfect but I’ve liked a bit of his game on debut.

Seston and Jefferson really impressed me that quarter.

Luke Dunstan has to be under serious consideration for next week surely??

Hibb leading the stats with 31 disposals

JVR's had 14, alot of those in that third term where he came into the game.  His ruck relief work not bad either!

Dunstan did well but just the disposals.  Some are ok but some pretty dodgy.  Bit of work to do there.

Bill got more influential as the term progressed with some nice run and finish.

Gregory was handy in the middle in that term.

Sestan looked VG that term.

Backline was crazy good, notables Howes, Hibb, Buntine & Jefferson

Dunstan gets a lot of it but his kicking is terrible as soon as any pressure is applied to him. Would rather someone else replace Harmes against Swans

Both Schache and JVR look confident and getting plenty of touches. Howes as well

Big Bell the ruckman looks like he's worth keeping an eye on

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
