Very promising first quarter from the saints. I'm daring to dream.

Not sure who he is, but, Number 9 for Freeo is a fair dinkum Spud….

looks like he needs a bong 😜

Yep, watching 5 mins of Freo v Saints its totally apparent they dont have a key fwd to kick to, which is completely throwing off their fwd ball movement.

Calling it now, they will miss the 8.

Seems to be dopey enough without one. Sorry, had to say it ;-)

Can’t say this is the performance of a side ready to win a flag spread headed by the forward playing unicorn Jackson

With 5 minutes remaining,

Jackson - 11 disposals for 28 metres gained. 5 hit outs. 0 marks. 0 goals. 1 behind.

Overrated and we’ve made out like bandits!

The moron could have played for a big win at the G last night. But at least he gets to fly home to mummy tonight.

AFL draft system is broken...

Hoping we can keep Kozzy, as usual the media vultures have started the noise about potential suitors going after him...🙄

Freo is a very pedestrian team, St Kilda should be 4 or 5 goals in front with all the turnovers they are getting.

LJ has missed two gettable goals so good to see he is doing his bit to maximise our return.

Unbelievable. 2 mins to go. 67 to 52 Saints way.

Say what you like about Lyon - he can coach.

Gonna be lineball for worst performance of the week.  Suns or Dockers.

Freo putrid. Goal kicking terrible. Ball movement stodgy AF. Jackson did FA.

The death ride 2023 is well and truly on.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
