I know I am ancient and useless at all electronic stuff, but can someone please tell me where I get my barcode? Is the number that came on the email from the club meant to be my barcode? I had a barcode last year but it is completely different. Last year, of course, we actually had membership cards which had the number on them!

The email the club sent you about an hour ago is the one that you will use tomorrow (unless you are an AFL member like me and you just use your normal barcode).

If you struggle with the ticketek system, maybe head down to a ticketek agency and just let the employee put your barcode in and tell them which category you want

Anyone got a link to finals ticketing categories? I'm assuming trident members get access to similar area where our season reserve seats are? Hoping anyway

Not so.  All membership categories are equal for this final.  First in best dressed.

I'm pumped. After missing out last year, I can't wait to revisit the feeling of 2018 in the Geelong and Hawthorn finals. I particularly loved it for my son witnessing an avalanche of support for the red and blue after an otherwise depressing childhood.

Get it done dees.

In previous years, I remember there being a 3 tiered priority access system for Melbourne members. Something along the lines of:

Priority 1 - Premium Memberships and those with GF Guarantee

Priority 2 - 11 Game Memberships

Priority 3 - 3 Game and Interstate Memberships

I believe ticket sales were staggered accordingly.

Does anyone know if this will happen again this year i.e in a Semi Final or Prelim?

Thanks

I have a suspicion that this grading was for  Grand Final tickets only.
it's all in first in bestvdressed if you look at the email posted about an hour or two ago.
Good Luck

Was lucky enough to go to 2 finals last year and happy to travel again. Lets destroy that Ticketmaster site tomorrow.

I posted the pic above but all details are on Ticketek website……

(not Ticketmaster haha don’t get confused at 10AM tomorrow!)

Can anyone help me - i'm wondering how to orchestrate a whole bunch of non-member Dees and Member dees sitting together.

How would we go about this? I've got membership, but my other seven friends don't - can I purchase a whole bunch of tickets togehter and they pay me back?

Hi AD,

In the past, 1 member would only be allowed to buy 1 ticket.

However this year, it appears 1 member can buy up to 10 tickets.

I would log in to Ticketek at 10AM with your membership barcodes and see how you go.

If not, you will have to wait til General Public tickets go on sale…..

where can i find a description of the 7 categories of tickets?

is there a map or something?

If you check the Ticketek site, you can't yet buy tickets but you can see the zones for each category, just click on Club Members and then Ticket and Pricing info. On the right hand side is each category

Yes, you can.

But I'm not sure if you can just select 8 tickets (and you receive all the digital tickets on your phone) or whether Ticketek will ask for their names and phone numbers and they get the sms with their individual digital ticket.  So have their info ready just in case.

Tip:  Type all the info into a Word document, save it thenjust copy/paste the info into Ticketek as needed.  It will save a lot of time.  Ticketek allows only 10 minutes to compete the transaction right through to payment.

It is worth while logging into Ticketek in advance and checking your details and cr card info are up to date.

I definitely remember that.

check your junk mail and ring Club membership Dept  if no email by very soon after 9am.

Just called the Club. They gave me my barcode numbers over the phone which was great. Also explained my lack of emails - apparently the box for email communication was unchecked. Would explain a few things. But surely you would think this would just get sent out - it's not spam!!!

I'm yet to receive an email from the club and I'm a trident member, so it's a pretty ordinary customer service experience with less than a business hour to get stuff sorted out if I was reliant on the club sorting it for me.

Anyway, regardless, I worked it out for myself. For anyone else that hasn't received an email from the club with your barcode, you can login to your membership account if you have a username and password via https://membership.melbournefc.com.au/. Your barcode will be in there from the membership details tab.

Good luck getting your tickets, Go Dees!

    GETAWAY by Meggs

Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval. It promises to be keenly contested, though Fremantle is the bookies clear favourite.  If we lose, finals could be remoter than Rottnest Island especially following on from the Dees 50-point dismantlement by North Melbourne last Sunday.  There are 8 remaining matches, over the next 7 weeks.  To Meggs’

    DRUBBING by Meggs

With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    GARNER STRENGTH by Meggs

In keeping with our tough draw theme, Week 3 sees Melbourne take on flag favourites, North Melbourne, at Casey Fields this Sunday at 1:05pm.  The weather forecast looks dry, a coolish 14 degrees and will be characteristically gusty.  Remember when Casey Fields was considered our fortress?  The Demons have lost two of their past three matches at the Field of Dreams, so opposition teams commute down the Princes Highway with more optimism these days.  The Dees held the highe

    ALLY’S FIELDS by Meggs

It was a sunny morning at Casey Fields, as Demon supporters young and old formed a guard of honour for fan favourite and 50-gamer Alyssa Bannan.  Banno’s banner stated the speedster was the ‘fastest 50 games’ by an AFLW player ever.   For Dees supporters, today was not our day and unfortunately not for Banno either. A couple of opportunities emerged for our number 6 but alas there was no sizzle.   Brisbane atoned for last week’s record loss to North Melbourne, comprehensively out

    GOOD MORNING by Meggs

If you are driving or training it to Cranbourne on Saturday, don’t forget to set your alarm clock. The Melbourne Demons play the reigning premiers Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields this Saturday, with the bounce of the ball at 11:05am.  Yes, that’s AM.   The AFLW fixture shows deference to the AFL men’s finals games.  So, for the men it’s good afternoon and good evening and for the women it’s good morning.     The Lions were wounded last week by 44 points, their highest ever los

    HORE ON FIRE by Meggs

The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals. They brought tremendous forward half pressure, and our newly renovated defensive unit looked shaky.

    REMATCH by Meggs

The Mighty Demons take on the confident Cats this Saturday night at the recently completed $319 million redeveloped GMHBA Stadium, with the bounce of the ball at 7:15pm. Our last game of 2023 was an agonisingly close 5-point semi-final loss to Geelong, and we look forward to Melbourne turning the tables this week. Practice match form was scratchy for both teams with the Demons losing practice matches to Carlton and Port Adelaide, while the Cats beat Collingwood but then lost to Essendo

    WELCOME 2024 by Meggs

It’s been hard to miss the seismic global momentum happening in Women’s sport of late. The Matildas have been playing to record sell-out crowds across Australia and ‘Mary Fowler is God’ is chalked onto footpaths everywhere. WNBA basketball rookie sensation Caitlin Clark has almost single-handedly elevated her Indiana Fever team to unprecedented viewership, attendances and playoffs in the USA.   Our female Aussie Paris 2024 Olympians won 13 out of Australia’s all-time record 18 gol

    EPILOGUE by Whispering Jack

I sit huddled in near darkness, the only light coming through flickering embers in a damp fireplace, the room in total silence after the thunderstorm died. I wonder if they bothered to restart the game.  No point really. It was over before it started. The team’s five star generals in defence and midfield ruled out of the fray, a few others missing in action against superior enemy firepower and too few left to fly the flag for the field marshal defiantly leading his outnumbered army int
