Melksham with an outstanding contested mark then fluffs the around the corner kick 15metres out.

3 - 37 at quarter time. Missed the last goal scorer for us but camera zoomed in on Laurie coming off the ground so presume it was him?

Yes, great team goal starting with a big switch from Mitch Brown after taking a strong mark at half back. Tidy finish by Laurie.

Rivers dropped an easy mark and then gave away a clumsy holding free. Lucky that neither were punished.

Weideman trying very hard

Can see Rivers, Weed and Lawrie coming in next week.

been out of the loop for a few weeks, re-locating back to Victoria. Where can we watch this match?

What’s the trick to get the AFL stream of this match? I keep pressing the watch live button on the VFL game Casey v Geelong page but nothing happens.

When you find out how to stream it, let me know ... same problem!

AFL App must think streaming is watching the scores change

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
