Yeah it's certainly complex dees ... and maybe different strokes for different blokes.

However, I've worked with counsellors etc .. in professional situations and wouldn't give any of them an ounce of credibility.

Maybe there's some useful ones out there - but I never encountered them

Mates are better

This mental health stuff is really interesting ... but I'm old school and don't get it.

I would never seek "help' or seek assistance ..... it's difficult to change ingrained beliefs.

Totally mental BBO.

Sometimes Graeme .... but ultimately ... it comes back to yourself

Ultimately yes, but the message is mates have a role to lessen burden on one's self, and I believe that

Was Laverde's questioning dissent ? Has this rule gone now? Or just this week?

The dissent rule has been relaxed according to the AFL.

That was a pathetic 1st half St Kilda. You look totally uninterested.

Saints must be loading

Not surprising , saints and Brisbane both look like they’re upping the loading like us , both were really fatigued up at the Gabba last week and both are sides entrenched in top 4-6 - so why are we surprised saints would be flat around the bye ?

Clearly incidental and accidental

Idk whether or not it was accidental. I was more focussing on the grossness of having half of someone’s (long) thumb exactly where it shouldn’t be… in your eye socket! 😬

There was a (in)famous rugby game a few years ago WCW, where a digit was inserted into a place "where it shouldn't be"!

Hint..... not an eye socket!

Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.

Now THAT’S definitely gotta be NOT accidental, surely.

No comment WCW

A wise decision BBO. 😉

Saints looking better, or is it Bombers looking worse third quarter?

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.

The Demons lacked some polish but showed a lot of heart and took it right up to the Bulldogs in an attempt to spoil their finals hopes ultimately going down by a goal at the MCG.
