I’m sure the all did enough year 8 English to understand rhetorical questions …… didn’t they?

That would very much depend on tone of voice.   So unless said sarcastically it would be said with respect. And you might point at the ground in a noisy environment to ensure your question was heard.  I think this is a serious problem for the rule as it is and can’t be swept under the rug.

How bad GWS

Shocking.  I dont see much team game, just relying on each individuals talent.

St Kilda have the offensive weapons and defensive traits to win this years flag.

I understand they play Sydney, Brisbane and Geelong twice this year but I’m getting the sense that they’ve got the team buy in that we had last year, and could be on the road to something special this year.

And they will have chosen a good year to break their drought, post lockdowns.

Was it Richo who slandered Daisy when she called out the Saints ruck for being in trouble? Seconds later he was back on the bench on the bike

She got very unfairly slandered and seconds later was proven correct

They care about winning as much as I care about bin night

Surely less than that.  It is a retirees highlight of the week.

Jack Hayes has torn his ACL. So unfortunate, I feel for the poor bloke. Hopefully he recovers well and continues his AFL career.

At 26 he finally cracks it into the big time achieving his dream and this happens. Really feel for him because he is only on a 1 year deal.

If I had to pick someone to kick a goal to save Jack Higgins' life I'd nominate Max King.

To be fair, forget to put your bins out and you’re pretty much [censored] for a fortnight.

Whereas if you don’t win all 3 of your supporters just go home and ask “what is this AFL game?”

GWS have no game plan

But their coach will still say they can make finals

What an appalling decision that free goal to GW$ Himmelberg - no prior at all.

If GWS had played as well as they did last week when we hammered them they'd probably be in front tonight. Very frustrating.

King - 1 goal 7 behinds.  Could be a decent player if he kicked straight.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
