I’m giving GWS a massive chance. Greene completely changes their side.
I still don’t rate St Kilda.

Don’t rate them either. They’re playing on confidence, let’s see how they’re going when the whips are cracking in June/July

Don’t they say that 80% of communication is non verbal. Arms out has to be allowed. So long as it’s simply asking a question and not overly demonstrative, it has to be allowed.

AFL overreaching yet again.

Well we have officially not beaten one side I reckon could make the 8 #beatennobody

Fair to say the Saints backline isn't quite to the level that Melbourne or even Fremantle's is. How 3 saints couldn't spoil little Bobby Hill gives me hope that even I could take a mark at AFL level.

We haven't lost to any sides that could make the eight either, which is a better way of putting it I think.

What about those of us with Italian heritage?

You got me there deever. At least 80%.

So already a few players running through the "protected zone" and no 50. It just kills me that every week the umps ref the game to only some of the rules, and it's a different few each week.

BT: he’s a bit Missy Higgins

Daisy: you’re the only one laughing at that, BT.

I love Daisy

BT - shut the [censored] up about the ball boys!!!

There's actually people there. GWS should just move lock, stock & barrel to Canberra. I doubt anyone in Sydney would notice the removal truck leave.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
