Weโ€™ve seen it with us, did Port have 18 post-season surgeries? Ken might walk after this.

If they havenโ€™t, maybe they should get some heart transplants.ย Still reckon they are suffering from that PF debacle.

Pres needs to walk with the coach, IMO.

Strange fixturing this weekend IMO.
Most Vic teams playing interstate clubs.
You'd think the AFL would want to make it a big easter football bonanza if they could.

Everybody's gone on holiday for the first time in 3 years.ย  No point scheduling good games this weekend

Iโ€™m waiting for the day when a coach walks, all the crap about their too proudโ€ฆ.

Youโ€™ve been at a club for ten seasons and this is all you have to show.ย

Leon Cameron in the same boat, 9 seasons with all of the talent at his disposal.

Dogs & Port still suffering from "WTF" syndrome. Are we good or aren't we? Coach keeps saying it was a blip on the radar, so why are we losing games?

Carlton is a lot of hot air and flair but very little defensive substanceย

Let's have a finish to this game that leaves both sets of fans frustrated and unsatisfied.

A draw?

He was almost out the door, could be a case of his players saying not yet or Blues just canโ€™t put 4 quarters together.

Geez, anyone within 10 goals of Carlton at 3 quarter time would fancy their chances right now.ย

Theyโ€™re impressive offensively, cannot defend to save themselves.

Carlton best 6 as good as anyone in the league.

The drop off to the bottom 10 in their 22 is absolutely frightening though

Carlton are a complete pack of [censored]. Same as the hawthorn game. Above average attacking footy for a quarter and a bit then fall down a cliff.ย

Looking forward to seeing the Blues spend all of their petrol tickets kicking 35 points against us up until 3 quarter time before they fall off the cliff and concede the next 15 goals.ย

ย

Dรฉjร  vu: round three, I watched Carlton just get over the line against Hawthorn in the same group chat with seven diehard Blues fans, and me. They arenโ€™t nearly as arrogant as I expected. Well, maybe now they will be since Iโ€™ve left the chat. ๐Ÿ˜

So they got just over 33000 there today. Admittedly they have a bigger supporter base & playing an interstate team that has a good fan base.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isnโ€™t a standard conceptโ€”itโ€™s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking. ย We filled our boots with percentage โ€” now a whopping 520.7% โ€” and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourneโ€™s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasnโ€™t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's ย six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his teamโ€™s unfulfilled potential rang true โ€ฆ well, almost.ย
