Well that's the Dogs on the slide, yea right..

Wait till tomorrow when we get rolled,....DEMONS FULL OF THEMSELVES...COACH FAILS...WE, THE MEDIA ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.

A little tricky to rate given he came on fresh at 3/4 time which is a huge advantage but Tex Wanganeen looks really talented.

Jamarra on the other hand looks a mess.

Dogs moved the ball crisply in the first half with their big guns in and Naughton looked incredibly hard to stop.

Essendon are handy and well drilled. Looked like 2 finals teams who have had good summers.

Essendon still look like a momentum team. Will be very handy on their day but were often ball watching/plodding in defence. Media pumping up Perkins and Cox post game. Perkins is understandable but Cox is just so meh.
Dogs looking pretty much the same as last year.

  • Demonland changed the title to NON-MFC: Practice Matches 2022

peptides should have been a regular finals side for the last several years given their age profile and list demographic

i'm expecting them to be in that clutch of teams 5-12, depending upon injury and form of key players

Watching the Saints game.

They're in for a year of pain going off this performance.

They're absolutely horrid.

The Suns giving Port a bit of a touch up, Port look close to full strength.
54-16 at halftime.

Mason Cox is wearing what looks like sunglasses

They’re prescription lenses. The AFL has given approval.

Lathlain Park I’m WA as well, Goschs Paddock looks like Modewarre 3rds ground compared to these local ovals.

Yeo, Sheed and new draftee Campbell Chesser injured for the Eagles

still super surprised that meth coke let brander go for free

i guess they didn't expect darling to listen to his mother-in-law quite so closely

West Coast in deep 💩

I predict bottom 4. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch… unless it happens to Geelong.

one of the clubs i truly envy

meth coke have an amazingly strong record of being a finals side  - they've only finished outside the 5 / 6 / 8 nine times in their existence (twice in their first three years), and even then they've only dropped into the bottom few on half those occasions (and used that as an opportunity to 'bounce' back up the ladder quickly with good drafting and trading)

they've already been rumoured to be 'into' tim english from the dogs and logan mcdonald from sydney, have a heap of players due to roll off big salaries soon, and are, arguably, the wealthiest club in the competition

With only 3 games to go, all against Top 8 fancies, the Demons face a daunting task as they return to the MCG when they play the Western Bulldogs. Who comes in and who goes out?

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
