Bit of a dead [censored] move by Rohan, but he only got him in the chest didn’t he? Looks like Neale put a fair bit of salt and pepper on it. Oh well, stiff [censored] Geelong.

North's complete failure against the Suns doesn't bode well for staying in Victoria.

If they can't get a few wins and some decent crowds this year Tassie may be their new home in a year or two.

Just looked at our run home.. horrendous to say the least

would be good if a few of those 7-12 teams were out of the running early.

GWS is one of them. Loss today and fingers crossed another loss next week would severely dent their chances.

Who are the others.... Hawks and Sydney come to mind. Freo perhaps along with Carlton

Doesnt look too bad.  Its only horrendous if we allow it to be with our form.

Remember in 2018 the last two games were against the Eagles in Perth and GWS in the last game, and we won both.  We were dreading them when the fixture came out.

We have Adelaide at the MCG in the second last game this season.

You take a tunnel-visioned opinion to new heights

The red mist comes over you like no other

So it doesn't matter how a team performs in the first half???? ... that makes zero sense

It's a sporting contest that lasts 120 minutes ... what happens in the last minute is connected to the other 119 minutes

But not according to Wyl the professor of twisted logic

You never cease to amaze!

Don't ever change ... we need the laughs

Of course it is all connected

Don’t twist what i say.

Doesn’t change the FACT that with 20 Seconds to go Brisvegas were 2 points down and should have been awarded a blatant Free Kick that the AFL have said the Umps got Wrong

You think Brisvegas should just suck it up

Yeah I do actually

I've got no sympathy for a bunch of frontrunners.  They had their chances (especially in the first half) and blew it

And I couldn't care less about a few umpiring decisions ... to be fair Brisbane were gifted a few decisions their way in the first half.  Did you watch the game closely?

Truth is you are blinkered with your hatred of Geelong

What's with the J instead of the G when spelling Geelong?

And if we want to take it further than that they (Brisbane) along with numerous other clubs get their fair share of home town decisions on an ongoing basis

That's how sport works in case you were wondering.  And it will never change.  Wanting it to change won't make it change

But good luck with all that angst.  The sensible people worked it all out decades ago  ... you missed the boat

I don't get this either.

Yeah, I dunno wsw.  I've always found such juvenile nicknames (eg. Port Adelaide Pear, West Coke, Essendrug etc) really tedious and childish.  It's the sort of thing you'd expect from the immature teens on BigFooty.

You keep saying you don’t care about Umpiring decisions, but others do

and you want to give me a hard time for it.
the Umpire who missed that last decision needs to find another job

Anyway, it's great to have attacking footy back again ... I can't get enough of it at the moment.  What you're brought up on sticks, ds

This keeps up and the dashing wingmen/half backers and high flying forwards will return to the game

Swans have a dream fixture:  Teams they play twice: Suns, Giants, Ess, Freo and Saints.  Only the Saints made finals last year

Very hard to see the Swans not make finals this year and with that fixture they may even end up top 4..

the joys of academies now and extra salary cap room during their successful years, eh

Conversely thosr teams late in season might be dreading fronting the Dees.

The cola was a few years ago now and they paid a high price and imv an unfair price, for 'stealing' Buddy from under the Giant's noses.

The Swans are one of the best managed clubs in the AFL. They are well coached and seem to be excellent at player development - a lot of rookies become success stories at the Swans.

I don't begrudge them.

And they had the good sense to select Logan McDonald at pick 4 in the draft. North, the fools, passed on him.

could be their buddy moment

as @Lucifer's Hero said, the swans are so well run that it's hard to see them 'losing' a player as talented as logan mcdonald, whereas north would have a hogan-a-like situation on their hands with the two wa sides no doubt chasing his signature at every opportunity

Bailey Smith......great goal.......gotta be the best mullet going around doesnt it...

Dogs Eagles has been a carbon copy of our game last night.  Dogs dominating possession yet kicking poorly for goal to only have a small halftime lead.

We hold 4th spot if this is a close result to the Doggies.

Good for morale if nothing else...

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
