IMO Would still trade him, went missing in the third and most of last except for a gimme goal from 15 out then a crumb. Thats my opinion take it or leave it!

I think I'll leave it.

'Went missing except for a goal kicked thanks to good positioning and forward craft and another goal snapped around the body from a pack, which were the decisive moments winning the game for us and keeping out finals hopes alive.'

Yep.

We should be riding Fritsch's prospects of doing a full Petracca over the pre-season and into 2021, not making up feeble excuses to pick at him.

OMG trade Oliver & now Fritsch, who else Petracca, May, l await your next ridiculous comment

except Watts was a no1 draft pic & Fritsch rookie listed

Watts never took an overhead mark in his life, Fritsch is our only classy player in the forward line

Not a feeble argument at all. I reckon he is a player that lacks intensity and misses goals which incidently, would have put the game right out of reach. Until he remedies this ( and I'm not sure he ever will) he will continue to frustrate supporters. No one is of the trade table so to ridicule this is to minimise the opportunity to pick up a player that suits our needs better! That's my take! Or is he untradable???

I reckon I would leave it, if you had any say in what players to delist we wouldn't have a team.

I think we've worked out who we want to play in the forward half if Goodwin remains coach and it's not Melksham.

I'd certainly listen to offers on Fritsch, but I think we need to seriously look at how to improve our forwardline function.

I know we didn't have Jackson for most of the year, but our forward half is somewhere between 9th and 14th. Get the forward line right and I think we'll become a much better team.

He's just the type of player that needs to kick a crunch goal in a final and misses. He does this far too often!

Looking a little foolish now ...

Your's and Elegt's great claim to fame and football knowledge is that you think Oliver is a good player

Well I would think that a two time Best and Fairest winner and All Australian makes him a tad better than good. But clearly thats your opinion and as I have so often said on this forum everyone has the right to an opinion!

Would you entertain Fritsch for a power Key Forward?? Say Jesse Hogan?? or another?

I would rather keep him, but his defensive intensity is the biggest frustration for me. Refuses to chase

Strange how the top quality intercept/rebounding opponents he keeps being matched up on keep having comparatively quiet games.

I know who I would rather keep between Weideman and Fritsch.  At least one of them actually marks the footy.....

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
