Juk3b0x - great 37th post

Thanks @binman ? Have gone for quality over quantity over the years... particularly enjoy Joeboy’s contribution each game day, and I was irked!

Just to stay on topic:

Brayshaw - Barbieonions the ball butcher

GAWN    the match winner

Petrac     another match winner

Oliver       Yet another star

Weid         Form of 2018

Fritta         finally coming good

Oscar        you belong here

Hibberd     proving doubters wrong

Picket        coming along well

Bennell      clean and cool

Hannan      will get better

Jackson     is our future

Langdon     great pick up

REST OF TEAM    all played part.

Joeboy - serotonin levels up

Gawn - lion hearted performance

Viney - beast is back

Petracca -  infinity and beyond

Jetta - experience plus composure

May - attacking defensive mentality

McDonald - Oscar for Oscar

Salem - lose Hollywood tinsel

Hibberd - less run today

Melksham - leather poisoning unlikely

Fritsch - better off leash

Jackson -  some terrific involvements

Pickett - creative pocket dynamo

Bennell - classy forward contributions

VandenBerg - physicality on show

Brayshaw - simmering off boil

Oliver - just add polish

Hannan -  set ball rolling

Weideman- stamped his presence

Harmes - synchronicity off kilter

Langdon - ever ready energiser

Lever -  clever football IQ

Lockhart - must be 1%'s

Goodwin - praiseworthy coaching performance

MFC -  made footy combative

Umpires - some possession clangers

Team - played their role

Finally the selection carousel is coming around to perhaps the best balanced group to play a high level attacking game plan. Let it settle and develop for a few weeks.

As others have said I think Brayshaw showed glimpses this week. He took risks which in the main did not come off but they will.

I'm not sold on AVB but he got a pass from me today.

Gawn - Dominated the game

Viney - Great with ball

Petracca - Remember the name

Jetta - Getting better still

May - Best game yet

McDonald - Great with Lever

Salem - Attitude was great

Hibberd - Recapturing his form

Melksham - Sprinkle of class

Fritsch - Very consistent form

Jackson - Seemed to belong

Pickett - Has it all

Bennell - Classy with ball

vandenBerg - Tough and smart

Brayshaw - Needs to lift

Oliver - Good not great

Hannan - Made a difference

Weideman - Best game yet

Harmes - Needs to lift

Langdon - Speed is crucial

Lockhart - Is getting better

Lever - Composure, leadership and smarts

Easy to see favourites here. Kozzy versus Melksham.  Too much praise for the first - yes, he's exciting to  watch and he kicked two goals. But only 6 disposals at 66% efficiency. He's got talent all right and one day he might rival Farmer. But not now.

Not enough recognition of the latter. Melksham played his role. Nine disposals at 88% efficiency and five marks and a goal.

Credit where it's due.

A very nice win yesterday,      No Changes, keep it settled,   All played their role, some previously seen as out of form, getting back to better games.  Damm nice to win well over the Hawks...

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
