DJ the problem is I have already used up all the HDMI sockets on the set. Used to have a Chromecast on our old Tele but even it is too old according to Kayo. I have investigated previously using the apps on my Panasonic  tv and according to Kayo it is not available through this set. No big deal mate life will go on if I don't get to see the game so be it. I have thought of having  Kayo In recent times because there are so many sports that are not available via FTA that I like eg. Motor racing.

Of course there is always that old technology called radio.

Chromecast works for Kayo. Use it all the time

That's what I suspected, the laptop might have to swing into action as my tv won't pick it up.

Buy a modern DVD BluRay recorder with appropriate functions to do this job 'OD'.  And plug & play it through your large TV.  Via Ethernet or HDMI 3 connections.?  I guess plug Kayo or whatever into this unit. ?

Is it on FTA?  Do we know yet?

Can 100% confirm WC v Melbourne will be on Fox Footy.

Hawthorn v Brisbane will be the channel seven 3:20 Sunday game that day.

Fork out for a iPad (or some other tablet) and watch on that.

The Napier Hotel in Fitzroy has a stack of footy memorabilia on its walls and good food too

And the best burger challenge I’ve seen ever! - too bad I’m in Sydney these days...

Hi Pennant St. Quite possibly although if it was a few years ago there may have been others

If you were there on a game day and they played the song afterwards then it definitely was. The fact we were 37 second from hearing the Gold Coast song last year still makes me shudder.

Still has some but it was changed hands a few times over the last 10 years. it is all clean lines and brighter spaces/less clutter now but still a great pub.

Cheers all, I think the Napier is the one, will head to both when I'm back in Melbourne next

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.
