We're still just bombing it. Tactic or pressure?

Seems tactic unfortunately. Hopefully we see a change in game style this yearย to hit more short kicks leading into 50.

What are the wind conditionsย

casey is always like a Typhoon!!

Apparently 10m kicks are only a mark if you're a crows player.

On TV it looks like kicks are traveling a lot further to crows end.ย

Sideways or goal to goal?

Our kicking skills need some work

Still playing like 2019. Bad kicking canโ€™t get ground ball. And missing 2nd quarters.

Thatโ€™s ok in Feb. as long as it is all Recordedย

I really canโ€™t see any change to our game. We still canโ€™t kick and have no idea how to go inside 50.ย

Some seriously questionable umpiring decisions resulting in shots at goals for the Crows.

Maggots are back. Crow 8 metre kicks and marks โ€œpaidโ€ in the first quarter. โ€œPlay onโ€ย for Dees in second quarter.

Goal to goal. We had the advantage in the first quarter, but characteristically kicked inaccurately for goal. Crows are now making the most of the wind advantage, and our kicking has been atrocious.

Only preseason, but there doesn't appear to be much change in game style visible yet. Was hoping for more accurate short kicking before pulling the trigger inside 50. I guess without a strong target up there it makes it hard. TMac has been unsighted and is our only proven big goal kicker. We need him to stay fit and stand up this year.

ย

Pickett banana for his first goal! Brilliant!

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competitionโ€™s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
