Which results aid our late run for finals glory?

Not sure. But here's a tip. Slam GWS at the line. Bookies are only giving them a 6.5 point start., which is ridiculously short. They will smash them.

If you don't fancy even money take the 5.50 for over gws 39.5, whichis also great value.

Ads are getting smarter.

Anointed by the AFL as this year's rising stars Ess were gifted umpteen money making, prime time, FTA time slots.

Really want Ess to miss finals.

GWS to smash them!

This match is like choosing between a [censored] sandwich and a fart in a space suit.

“666, kick ins - and all that jazz will def increase scoring in 2019” said some AFL suit in Nov 2018.

Tempted to go along dressed in orange and sit behind the essendung cheer squad

.....just for an hour or so..

Have only looked at a few minutes early and now 3rd quarter.

Maggots "being very helpful" to Druggists.

A couple of soft holding the man to ESS and Hurley clearly incorrect disposals not paid.

Frees 15 to 9 at present.

Appalling lack of understanding by the maggot of the advantage rule just gifted a goal to Druggies.

Good Lord what a boring game. Two nominally attacking teams playing on an indoor ground and it is only 90 total points at 3/4 time.

Giants giving them a sniff...just bury them.

OMG that bald fleg is close to BOG for ESS.

I have never barracked for GW$ before...

Its always hard the first time...

Frees now 28 / 14 and I reckon about 5+ goals from frees right in front. (Haven't watched the whole game).

Looks like that line was pretty spot on after all @binman

....lets hope they lose by a point.

How ironic is it that Worsfold's Essendrug team play in front of CHEMIST WAREHOUSE flashing billboards?

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
