It’s not really a journey.

Life is not really a journey either.

It’s actually a process and should be viewed as such.

People who say “life’s a journey” rely on astrology, tarot cards and other esoteric nonsense too much.

Life is a process and success is a series of correct and often difficult decisions.

Very statistical Biff. are you a Digital or [censored], Ogue ?

Don't need big biceps for tunnel ball.

A certain amount of co-ordination is necessary though, with Fitzy proving he could deny the odds in that respect.

Of course life's a journey.

You start somewhere.. venture through to another position.

Some obviously find that hard to grasp.

Maybe those that see things as only black and white are in the wrong place.

Perhaps, but how did they get there?

And that scum bucket  $cully right at the other end.  Perhaps he was scared Max was going to vomit on him again.  Actually just the thought of that little turd makes me want to vomit, so I completely understand why Max reportly did it.

There is a danger in thinking life is a journey; some sort of a pilgrimage with a purpose at the end. Life is to be lived along the way, in the same way that music is to be enjoyed. ... Life is music all along. - Alan Watts.

That would explain a lot if he was Jacks father.

A dampener on what has been a largely positive thread , but I've been thinking of Max in the context of yesterday's sickening events in Christchurch.  Much too hard to put to the back of ones mind.

I never felt that Freo guy we picked up in Mark Neilds time was any chop - impressive numbers at VFL level, but always looked useless and never produced when he got an opertunity at in our senior side.

Sorry, Balls. Who was this? More clues, please.

He did always have that X factor, could take a big grab and was very coordinated for a guy his size.  Was only ever a question if he could get over his injuries and I thought he had a pretty good chance of becoming a good player, but didn't quite see the absolute superstar he has become right from back then.

No worries.  I couldn't remember his name when I wrote the original post, but do now - it was Viv Mitchie.

Thanks. Yes, waste of space.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
