Whilst the chance of top 4 are there it's unlikely we'll make it. So who do you want in the elimination final ?

A win over GWS & we sew up 5th spot to set up a date with Geelong.

If we lose to GWS & we could be playing anyone of Sydney or GWS in Sydney or Hawthorn.

I'd take a win over GWS & hit the finals running against those pretenders Geelong. No way we lose to them for a 3rd time after the way we lost the previous 2

I’d love nothing more than to beat Geelong, but I’d hate losing to them the most as work will be unbearable.

GEELONG

we owe those pricks, start frost on Hawkins and move the ball like we did against the eagles yesterday

Geelong easily, the new filth

Surely its a no brainer?

Geelong.

We owe it to ourselves to go out and absoloutely belt those smug bastards.

I'm not sure. I kind of want to keep emotion out of it for now and just play who we play and hopefully get a win.

But that could all change soon.

Would just love a MCG final.. who we play is just about the narrative ?

Geelong. It feels like the perfect narrative to the season, they get lucky against us twice and we kick then out of the finals.

Geelong Gelong Geelong

We owe them big time.  They were lucky to beat us twice by less than a kick both times, and of course then there is 186...

Imagine kicking  Selwood, Dangerflog, Ablett and the unbearable Chris Scott out of the finals...

I think my ideal (and plausible) premiership run goes

Geelong at the 'G, so all you lot can have your fun.

Sydney in Sydney, so I can finally go to a Demon final.

Then back to the 'G to finish off Collingwood.

And finally the inevitable contest with Richmond.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
