I call it as I see, I've had enough of hearing what "could be." No offence to you Filthy, but take it or leave it. I deal with what I see. Oh, and my post was just a friendly joke on Werridee, nothing against the guy.

I am the "Glass Half Full" kind of guy.

I'm just the sick of losing, being a laughing stock and not making finals frustrated kind of guy. Kids are fine, just feel they're getting let down by the old ones.

Appreciate your attitude. I'm more along the lines of MSFebey's thinking but don't stop being positive. We need people like you!

I feel your pain and my patience is wearing thing. There will be plenty of bloodletting from me if we miss finals this year!

Just trying to keep the faith in my boys and hope they stop breaking my heart.

Good on you mate, I appreciate you blokes with all the patience in the world. Keep the positivity up mate, join the nut house with the rest of us in a couple of weeks (hopefully not). I'm just frustrated, I travelled to every away game last year, saw us come from behind to demolish the Crows, was sitting there in Perth with 2mins to go thinking not again before showing some fight and snatching a victory. I just think the last two years we have blown a very good opportunity to do a Dogs or Tigers, our best is good enough but these kind of opportunities wont be there forever (to steal a phrase from Neale).

I went to AO this year, was great walking out giving it to some crows fans who were into me all night every time I cheered the Dees!

Hogan going down might be an Omen?

Well last year when he went down we seemed to function better and we also won in Perth without him. Another thing is his form against the top 8 has been average/poor so may work in our favour also. We await!

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
